After dinner, Undertaker and I had decided to just sit on the couch and talk with each other. He had just made some more tea and handed me the cup back. “Oh, by the way, dearie. Lord Phantomhive stopped by earlier while you were taking a nap...”
“Oh, really? And you didn’t tell me until now?”
“You needed to catch up on rest, love. And that’s what I told him. He said he would like to visit you soon.” He answered. “So did you tell him what happened? After the news broke?”
“No, he seemed to be in a hurry.” As I take a drink out of my tea, we heard the bell ring, signaling a new guest.
“I’ll be right back, love.” He says as he sets his cup down, and readjusts his hair back over his eyes. He then leaves the room. After about a moment though, he returns. “You have some visitors.” He smiles over at me. Confused, I wait to see who it is.
I then see Ciel and Sebastian. “Good evening, Amora. How are you doing?” Ciel greets. “Not too bad, but I actually have to talk to you about that-”
“I brought someone along who would like to see you.” He interrupts. Just then I saw Aunt Angelina appear. “A-Aunt An...” I get up to go give her a hug. “Hello, dear. It’s so good to see you again!” She says. “I can say the same to you! What brings you here?”
“There is a particular party that is being held tonight. We would like for you to join us.” Ciel explains. “A party? I don’t know if that’s such a good idea-”
“Madame Red will explain everything to you as you get ready. We brought a dress for you to wear.” He again interrupts. “What you’re basically saying is I don’t exactly have a choice?”
“Precisely.” He smiles, making me hesitate as I look over at Undertaker. “Fine. But if I have to go, I want Undertaker to come with.” I say “Alright, fine. Now go get ready!” I notice Sebastian hand a bag over to Aunt An. That must be the dress he was talking about. I then lead the way to the bedroom, and I hear them telling Undertaker to get ready as well.
Once in my room, I close the door after letting her in. “Alright, dear. Grab your corset and let’s get you ready!” I let out a groan in annoyance. “Do I really have to wear that?!”
“Of course you do! You have to look as nice as possible!” She answers as I grab my corset. “What do I need to go to this party for anyway?” I ask as I remove my current dress, and she helps me with my corset.
“We’re doing this to help your brother with a case. This party is being held by the Viscount Druitt, also known as Aleister Chamber.” She begins explaining as she tightens the strings, and I about screamed in pain. “He’s the last person on the suspect list-”
“What’s he investigating now?” I questioned. “He’s trying to solve the ‘Jack the Ripper’ case. From what we know, the Viscount graduated from medical school, but has never gone into practice. Lately he’s thrown several parties at his home. But behind the scenes of these same soirées are secret gatherings that only his intimates may attend to.” She makes one more tug at the strings, and I couldn’t contain my screams any longer.
“So Ciel’s suspicion is that the Viscount is holding these parties to perform ritualistic sacrifices of local prostitutes. Tonight is the last party of the season, so this is our last chance. And this is where you come in. We were originally going to have Ciel wear this dress, but he decided on you instead.” She says as she pulls it out and hands it over to me. It was the same as my other ones, only pink!
“Does it really have to be pink?! Why can’t I just wear the ones I already have?!” I demanded. “Because we already had this one made.” I put the dress on, and she begins fixing my hair.
“What we need you to do is get close to the Viscount. I heard he has an eye for any pretty little thing in a skirt, and we do want to catch his eye-”
“So what you’re telling me is that you’re using me as bait?!” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. “Yes, but you don’t have anything to worry about. We just want to find out if he’s the real suspect.”
“By making me look as if I am one?!”
“Should anything go wrong, you know your brother will save you at once.” I was starting to feel sick to my stomach. If Undertaker knew about this, there would be absolutely no way he would allow for this to happen. Undertaker...
She finished with my hair, and we made our way out to the living room. I noticed Undertaker was already ready, and he had fixed himself up nice. “Alright, are we all ready to go?” Someone else asked. I hadn’t seen him earlier and I hadn’t recognized him.
“Yes, Lau. We can get going.” Aunt An says, and everybody makes their way out. Undertaker then walks up to me. “You look lovely.” He smiles. “Thanks. However, I hate this dress! I feel ridiculous!”
“Hehe. It’s the same dress as your other one.” He points out. “Yes, I know. But I don't like this color.”
These ARE my drawings! The first picture I tried making her look a little older. I tried doing something different with her hair, but in the second picture would be more of her natural hair color.
On our way over to this party, I kept staring out the window, distancing myself from the conversation. I didn’t like this feeling I was having. “Is everything alright, love?” Undertaker asks as he leans into my ear. I didn’t want to tell him the truth. “Yeah, I’m fine.” I answered quietly.
“So you know the plan then, right?” Ciel asks. “What plan?” Undertaker then asks. I start to become even more nauseous as they explain everything to him.
“You can’t be serious?! Lord Phantomhive, you know everything she has been through! What are you thinking making her do this?!” He demands. “This is our last chance. Tonight is the last party of the season. While I know what she has been through, Sebastian and I won't let anything bad happen to her.”
While Undertaker was practically going down their throats, I do everything I could to drown out the noise. Right now I just wished I could be back at the shop, enjoying my time with him.
Before I knew it, I was being brought back to reality. “Amora! We’re here, let’s go!” Ciel shouts. Undertaker takes my hand and steps out of the carriage. He then helps me out before pulling me in a tight hug. “I’m so sorry about this, Amora. I’ll make damn sure nothing happens to you, okay?” He says as he pulls away to look at me.
“Okay.” He places a kiss to my forehead and takes my hand. We then make our way inside.
As we were looking for the Viscount, the music had started just as we found him. Aunt An and Lau had already disappeared to who knows where, just leaving us four. “We have no choice. You’ll have to dance your way over to him.”
“I’ll take care of that.” Undertaker sternly says as he takes my hand and leads me into the crowd. He looks directly into my eyes as we started dancing together. His left eye was just barely visible to be seen, and I could see pain in them.
“Love, I’m so sorry they’re making you do this. I know I’ve already said this, but I refuse to let anything happen to you. I love you, and I won’t let you be taken away again.”
“As long as you’re here, I feel somewhat better about this. I trust you.” I say. “This certainly wasn’t how I imagined our first dance to be like.” He says as he tries to lighten the mood. We both laugh. “I know, neither did I.” The song ends, and I hear someone clapping. I look up and seen Viscount Druitt looking at us.
“Your dancing is exquisite like a lovely little Robin, my sweet lady.” Undertaker then looks over to me and speaks. “Allow me to fetch you something to drink.” He says before walking away. I again felt sick to my stomach about this.
“Good evening, Lord Druitt.” I greeted nervously. “I do hope you’re enjoying the party.” He says as he takes my hand and kisses the back of it. “Dear Robin.” He smiles.
“Y-yes, certainly! It’s a wonderful party. M-my Lord, I’ve been waiting to speak with you.” I say. “Oh?” He questions. “I’m bored to death dancing and eating.” He then smirks.
“What a spoiled princess you are, little Robin.” He says as he wraps his arm around my waist. “Looking for something more... Entertaining?” He asks, and he moves his hand even lower. I wanted nothing more than to hit him and run, but I needed to do this.
“You know of other amusements? I’d be most interested.” I asked. “Of course! I’d be happy to show them to you, Robin. My sweet little thing.” He answers, putting his fingers under my chin and leans even closer to my face. I swear I’m going to kill Ciel when this is all over! I was struggling to hold myself together. This was bringing back too many horrible memories! “Oh, really? L-like what?” I asked. “You want to know?”
“Y-yes, I’m simply dying to, m-my Lord.” I then noticed my attackers looking over at me. Now what are they doing here?! Can’t I ever get a break?! “What has you so distracted, my little butterfly?” He asks seductively as he makes me look back over to him. “I-It’s nothing! My Lord.”
Before they came up to me, Sebastian appears out of nowhere with a large cabinet, stopping them from getting to me. “Ladies and gentlemen. If everyone would please gather around. This evening’s magic show will now begin.” He speaks. “Pardon me, sir. Would you kindly assist me?” He asks as he looks over at Lau.
“Assist you? Why certainly.” Lau answers as he walks up to Sebastian. “I don’t recall scheduling any parlor tricks this evening?” Viscount Druitt says to himself. This is my chance. “My Lord. I’ve seen more than enough parlor tricks. Can we go, please?”
“Yes, anything for you, my sweet.” He answers. He then leads us over to the stairs, and we make our way up. “Right this way, dear.” He says as we walk up to a door. Ciel is really going to get it!
“We’re going somewhere I’m sure you’ll find very amusing. I know I do.” He says as he opens another door to a different room. “Please.” He has me walk in first, and he closes the door behind us. What is that smell?! It’s... It’s... Familiar. I start to become dizzy as I’m starting to slowly lose vision. Damn him.
When I woke up, my hands were again tied up. I was really starting to panic. Not this again!! “And now what you’ve all been waiting for. Tonight’s crown jewel!” The drape was pulled off from my cage, and I take a look at my surroundings. “No. No! Not this again, UNDERTAKER?! Ciel?!” They all ignored me again.
“I’m sure she'd make a lovely decoration. A sweet little pet. You can keep her whole and healthy. Or sell her for parts if you’d like.” Those words... I immediately started crying. “Get me out of here! Someone, please!!” I yell out.
“The bidding shall begin! We’ll start at 1,000 guineas.”
“2,000!”
“3,000!” Everyone kept placing their bids. “4,000!”
“5,000!” It kept going, and stopped at 15,000. Viscount Druitt had his helper let me out, and I was of course taken over to the person who bought me.
“UNDERTAKER! Please help me!” I screamed out, but nobody came to get me.
What will happen now? Do you think you'll be saved, or will you be taken again?
