"So, you want me to bust your ass in private?"
I didn't respond to the threat, I just kept watching the darkness. This is a quiet place where I could rest from the world, how annoying it is to be alive.
"Leave your stupid act of emo Maggie!" slowly I turn around to look at her, without any emotion. "Seriously, you're as ridiculous as Luan Loud."
Again, I didn't respond to the aggression, I just kept my eyes in the same place. It was so dark that we could barely see each other, a firefly would illuminate more than that old light bulb.
"Well, why did you make me come to the basement of the high school, Maggie?" asked the girl with her arms folded, her face showing annoyance.
"You, Ryan, and Megan, your stupid joke left our paranormal study club in bad shape. I warned you a long time ago, one more time and you're done for" I observed how Sarah laughed. Typical of these rotten-souled people.
"Don't make me laugh, your club room was very dark, it needed some pink" Sarah stopped laughing, smiling gracefully "make us pay? You put yourself in a cage, the basement door is guarded by my friends. It's time to teach you a lesson." Sarah set out to punch me, I just dodged as I could, there wasn't anywhere to run.
"Please don't hurt me, I just wanted to be your friend," I implored suddenly, this took Sarah out of place for a few moments, but this was what I wanted.
"I would never be friends with a larva like you, just die" Sarah hit me in the cheek, watching me fall to the ground. However, the smile on the face of the emo made Sarah angry. "What's so funny?"
"Say hello to my friends," I whispered, looking at the ground. Immediately, the light bulb exploded on top of Sarah's head, who drowned out a scream, she pulled out her cell phone to light up the dark with the flashlight on the device, focusing on where Maggie is. Nothing. Noises began to be heard around the room as if someone were hitting a coin against something metallic. Sarah moved her light source all over the area, but no trace of Maggie, or any of her weird friends.
"N-I'm not-I'm afraid of your weird stuff" her attempt to seem confident only showed her fear, Sarah hated death horror movies. At one point, she began to hear the dripping of something, when she approached and focused the light, she saw with horror a Chucky doll face down, dripping blood. Out of nowhere, something leaped with a very high-pitched sound, when Sarah tried to give the cry of her life, a hand covered her mouth and throw her to the ground.
"Where's your advantage?" Sarah saw through the corner of her eye a person in a white mask with red lines who imitated a face smiling "You know, I don't know whether to take an eye off you, or burn your ridiculous painted hair."
"Hmm!" Sarah tries to scream with horror, a toothpick near her left eye, this person already noticed that she was shaking.
Sarah saw Maggie come out of the darkness, holding a lighter and a can of spray in each hand "What's the matter, Sarah? Ohhh, my mistake, you'd like to be on the other side. Ready for a beauty treatment?" Sarah was horrified to see Maggie's sadistic smile, at the point she ended up fainting. Moments after that, Maggie returned to her expression without emotion, confirmed Sarah is unconscious.
"I feel my jeans wet, I think she peed," said the person in the mask.
"Sarah is a scaredy cat, I'm not surprised she was frightened by something as simple as beet juice and a smile of madness" the person in the mask placed Sarah in a corner of the basement, while Maggie picked up the important things.
"I sent the message to the others, telling them to go where you wanted them to. I also discovered the leaders, they are a group of stalkers, from elementary to high school, they have a private group on Facebook. Now you owe me a favor, Maggie" the masked man said, who had managed to access Sarah's all thanks to the fingerprint unlock, God bless technology.
"You have my word, I will do my best to help you in the future. You have my gratitude, Seth" Seth took off his mask, seeing the time, he still had time, he had already left things where the other person said. Now, all that was missing was to see him and get what he wanted to know to find his sister.
Maggie removed the wooden board that was covering the window with a rope tied to the board, helping Seth climb up so he could go outside. It would be a lot of trouble to see an elementary school kid in the high school area. They nodded to each other before Seth ran away, it's not over yet for him Maggie, with caution as it was forbidden for the school to enter the basement, opened the door and saw the hallways, luckily there was no one around when it was class time. The doorbell rang just as she closed the basement door. All she had to do was lie to the science teacher who had a stomachache, easy.
She had a strange feeling in her after seeing Ryan scream like a child, covered in something brown on all her clothes, she smelled worse than rotten fish. Let's just say that smoothy had special ingredients, like cat shit, a past fish, and a little chopped powder. Woah, it is interesting how you feel the emotion that is mixed with joy, surely a dark story will come out of this day.
"Did you do your part Maggie?" asked an emo boy, with his hair dyed black and his eyes covered by the same hair, accompanied by a girl of similar characteristics.
"Yes, Sarah is dreaming with the demons that haunt the basement. With them out, her lackeys will stop wreaking havoc in this high school," Maggie said in a dull voice, but her classmates knew that she was happy on the inside, deeply, deeply inside.
"Yes! We gave Sarah's group what they deserved!"
"Were you guys the group Sarah's gang likes to annoy?" the group flipped around, watching Benjamin, colloquially known as Benny, accompanied by Luan, the queen of bad jokes and heavy pranks.
"That's why Zoey, expressing your positive emotions brings unnecessary attention," Maggie said, looking at her partner, who quietly apologized. She didn't expect anyone to hear them, after all, all students ignore them.
"Are you going to rat us out, Jewish man?" asked the young emo, thinking about having to act if he spoke.
"No, no, no, in fact, even knowing it's wrong, I'm glad Sarah got a lesson. They were bothering Luan, and the truth is, I was already planning to confront them" Luan couldn't avoid blushing, her crush planned to defend her. Then Benny blushed, realizing he said that without thinking.
"Uh, love, I couldn't stand this crap. We'd better retire to our dominoes."
"Wait, Maggie, Professor Joseph told me to pass you some homework sheets" Maggie looked at her friends, signaling that she would then catch up with them, to which they went to one of their hideouts.
"Be quick. I don't like being with a lot of people around me" Benny opened his backpack to pull out the papers, but between his puppets and the drama class stuff, it took a long time. Which Luan took advantage of to talk with Maggie.
"Maggie, that was very brave. I appreciate you giving them a lesson."
"Don't misunderstand this Loud. Just because your act of mimicry was so deep, it never means I did it for you or someone else."
"How cute, the weirdoes giving each other support" the three teenagers turned to the front of the aisle. There was Megan, part of the group of bullies, showing a small spider "long time ago I faced my arachnophobia, your trick won't work on me, weirdo." What made it worse for Maggie, the other students were clustering around them, like mere spectators, with their cell phone cameras ready to record.
"Listen, Megan, I know it wasn't the right way, but this has to stop, or I'll have to have a talk with the director," Benny claims, standing in front of the two girls, Megan just stood there laughing.
"Oh please, that senile old man is in my pocket, it's the advantage of having connections," Megan replied arrogantly, to which the audience reacts in different ways, but they were reactions after all. Seeing despair in both of her friends, Luan's mind was enlightened with an idea, it is to play it.
At this point, she has already decided to act, to help her friends, to follow the example of her dear little brother.
"Can you shut up? Seeing your whale face is disgusting me" Luan suddenly. Everyone, including Benny and Maggie, were surprised by the change of attitude.
"No one insults me, rabbit teeth."
"Right, but at least I don't keep a picture wearing a Boots cosplay in a convention of Dora the explorer, with three-year-old's," Luan reply, while looking at her nails as if Lola's spirit had possessed her.
"What?!" the audience began to laugh like crazy, causing greater shame for Megan "damn clown!"
"If you want a little bit of me, come on, but you're so fat that when you ask your mom if you are, she tells you to have a big body. Bigger than a Blue Whale, get it? Oh, right, not in a million years, silly me."
"You're dead Loud!" Luan took Benny and Maggie's arms, to escape with her, having behind them an angry popular girl.
"That was very black-humored, Luan," said Benny as he tried to keep up.
"I can handle the black humor a little bit, but it's not my style," Luan replied as she turned left.
"And to all this. Where are you taking us?" asks Maggie, who did not expect to be dragged with them.
"I have an idea, and I need your help to make it work."
"Of course, Luan, you know it's always got my support," the comedian had to contend with a squeal of joy, but that would be for another time. She looked at Maggie, who just looked away, before releasing a sigh of defeat.
"This better work," Luan took that as a yes.
Within minutes, Megan reached that aisle, cursing that she had lost them until she heard a hiss. She saw Luan smiling from the bottom of the school cellar, playing with her inflatable sausage, signaling that she was coming for her. Seeing red, Megan ran for the comedian's blood, wrong call, just entering into the cellar, a ridiculously big hand hit Megan hard, leaving her lying on the ground, with a lot of whipped cream on her face.
"Is she all right?" asked Benny, worried that he would have gone over on her. Only for Megan to make a little whine of pain.
"Yeah, she's alive, but there is something missing" Maggie put a cherry on Megan's nose, to resemble a cake. This action made Luan laugh a little "why did you have this in the cellar?"
"I have a special deal with the coach to keep this, for just a light prank in April fools. A classic inspired by one of my favorite groups, Jackass" comments the comedian, happy to not only have a chance to play a prank but to protect her friends "see, you look better when you smile Maggie."
"What?" Luan took both of them by the shoulders to give them a group hug. Thanking them.
"I told you Luan, I'll support you in anything," Benny said a little embarrassed by being this close to his crush, while Maggie didn't seem to enjoy the hug very much. "You're pushing your luck Loud" commented the emo girl a little annoyed.
"Come on, my friends get hugs and jokes for free."
"I'm not your friend." Maggie reply as coldly as she could sound.
"Then I'll have to make jokes for you until you become my friend." Maggie looked a little surprised at Luan, who smiled at her, this girl is special in many ways, Maggie hated to recognize it, but from the birthday party, Maggie was interested in where so much positive energy came from. Anyway, it was better to avoid her jokes and pranks.
"For now, I will just call you by your name, Luan" Maggie deflects her head so they wouldn't see her. The comedian accepted the terms, all little by little.
"Great, I think one of your jokes would be good for this moment."
"I'm so happy Benny, I can't think of a joke right now."
"Blasphemy, Luan Loud always has a joke for everything" the two laughed, while Maggie just smiled.
"If you want I can leave, so you love birds can have a moment together" because of the comment, Benny and Luan blushed, separating while babbling that they were not a couple, "I thought you were because of your interaction, I apologize."
"It is right, Maggie, " answered Benny, scratching his neck.
"Luan!" Luna screamed from afar "come on dude, Lori's already here to pick us up, we gotta go now. Little bro need us!"
"I'm coming! Sorry guys, I have a family issue to attend to" Luan excused herself, they both understood it.
"So Maggie, what do you like—" Benny stopped talking when he noticed that Maggie was already gone."...to do in the evenings?" Benny freaked out, but that changed when he realized he was late for the meeting in the auditorium. He would plan how to improve on stage, and also when he would arm himself with the courage to confess to Luan Loud.
On the other side, the two sisters ran to the family van. "Lori we Are here," Luna said, entering the van with Luan, where the two older sisters were. "And Lynn?" asked the eldest.
"She faked something to go to the nurse and ran away, leaving Margo in her place" Luna replied, somewhat annoyed with Lynn, as they agreed to all be on Lincoln's side.
"Ahh, why am I not surprised?"
"That was, like, rude, but look, my new friends gave me a whistle in case I got locked in the janitor's closet again" Leni started blowing the whistle non-stop, irritating the others. Lori wasn't very convinced about these new friends of Leni, they didn't pass the vibe check for her, she always had to be very alert with what Leni does so she wouldn't get hurt. Once Lincoln's issue was solved, Lori would focus on Leni.
"Leni, this isn't the Titanic, stop blowing the whistle, please."
"Oh, I'm sorry Luan," apologized Leni.
"Anyway, I got a message from Lucy and Lisa, apparently something serious happened with Lincoln at school, and for them to be that worried, something serious must have happened. Fasten your seatbelts girls" with a little fear, the three sisters did it, they knew that look of Lori whilst behind the wheel. This would be a really bumpy journey from the beginning. It was a tense journey complete in less than seven minutes and without cops behind. Vanzilla parked at the entrance of Royalwoods Elementary, but they could see something different, almost all the kids have a look that was a mixture of surprise and sadness, a bad combination.
"Lori!" as soon as they opened the door, the twins jumped straight to hug the older sister tightly, frightened. While Lucy and Lisa stayed close. "All right, calm down, please, what happened?"
"It wasn't him...that voice couldn't be from our Lincoln" sneered Lana. Lola repeated over and over again something awfully bad happened to Lincoln for them to react that way.
"Where's Lincoln? Is what happened that bad?" asked Luna, with a tone of concern.
Lori focused on comforting the twins, in normal situations, she would be upset to see her favorite blouse stained, but it was evident, this wasn't a normal situation.
"I think you should listen to this audio to understand the severity of the problem," Lisa pressed a button on her evidence recorder. The words that came out of that voice were Lincoln's, no doubt, yet that tone of hatred and complete despair, never had they thought something like this is actually from Lincoln, the genius paused the recording "what caused this, was that our only brother found evidence of school neglect that led a student to commit suicide."
"Oh my God," Leni put her hand on her mouth, she knew the meaning of that bad word, adding more concern for her little brother. A feeling shared by the rest of the sisters' present.
"After this rant, Lincoln ran away, most likely going straight to the place of the fight. This audio is shared very quickly in town groups," said Lucy, who, while her voice seemed to maintain her monotony, the sisters could see that tone of concern in her. Now Lincoln was in more serious trouble than just a puberty fight.
"Okay, okay, let us all calm down. First, we have to go after Lincoln to avoid something worse," Lori told them to get on, but before they left, someone stopped them.
"Please wait! Are you Lincoln's sisters?" Lori saw a brown-haired girl, trying to catch her breath, behind her came several more, of which she recognized Clyde and the rest of her brother's group of friends.
"Can we help you with something dudes?" asked Luna, seeing a large group of kids.
"Can you take us with you? We're very worried about Lincoln too" said Zach, to which the others asked for the same in disarray, forcing Leni to use her whistle to calm everyone down.
"You should let them come" Lisa calmly commented, "By their emotional state, I deduce they are close to our brother, and somehow they will seek him. They need supervision." Lori didn't like the idea of being a nanny to more kids but seeing their expressions of concern broke her heart. They're really worried about her silly younger brother. On the other hand, it was funny to notice that Lincoln now had more female friends than male friends.
"All right, but we don't all fit in here."
"Because of Vanzilla's body and size, we can take the girls smoothly, but the boys will have to go on their own," Lisa clarified, showing a picture on her tablet of how it would have to be accommodated. Jordan, Stella, Paige, Mollie, Cici, Joy, and Cookie would go with the sisters.
"My dad has a van too, I can tell him to leave us at a place nearby, just give me the address," Dave said hastily, that was a good idea. Lori passed him the address and made them swear they told their parents that they were going to a surprise party.
"Are you all there?" Lori, to which she was answered by many whines of discomfort.
"Wait! Lucy's missing!"
"Here I am Leni" everyone screamed, swearing to God that Lucy wasn't in that place a few seconds ago.
"Sigh, I'm used to it."
"This is no time for jump scares, press on that accelerator," Luan ordered, pointing to the horizon, and again, another bumpy journey began. Lori found it a little difficult to find the place pointed out by her brother, but if all went well, they would arrive as soon as the fight started, ready to help their brother against that bully. Lori knows Chandler when Lincoln used her to get favors in the arcade so he would invite her brother to his party. At first glance, she saw him as a daddy's boy with a very tall ego, able to do anything to obtain his wishes, but now...
Lori parked in the first place she saw, pulling out her random weapons and running hastily, followed by the others, but when she got to the exact spot, there was nothing. There was only a rat, the eldest had to stop Lana from wanting to adopt him.
"Will they be late?" asked Paige, wondering why there was no one there.
"Better be the case, we can ambush them when they arrive. I'll leave them so bad that even circus won't hire them" Lola smiled evilly, making the rest of the group take a step away from her "What? Too exaggerated?"
"If this is only part of what Lincoln endures every day, he has my respect," Mollie whispered to Cookie, who could only nod.
"We'd better get ready for the ambush, everybody takes a position," Lori commanded, they scattered around the area, ready to attack. The minutes passed, all attentive to any kind of sound to jump into action. Five, ten, fifteen, twenty minutes had passed, but still nothing happened.
"Uh, how long is this going to take? My dress will never be able to be clean again after being in this dump for so long."
"Speak for yourself Lola, this is a sanctuary. I'll come here more often, look, I just found some fries" the others just stuck their tongue out of disgust of watching Lana eat something out of a garbage can.
"Shh, I hear something" whispered Stella, raising her hand in silence, indeed, many voices of boys. Whether it's tiredness or anger, they jumped them, bringing the pain and smoke off of the fight.
Jordan squeaked hard to get everyone's attention "False alarm, it's the boys, nobody's from the Chandler gang" the smoke from the fight vanished, revealing some beaten guys, Clyde, and the others. Only Dave was saved by falling behind.
"Thank god I was saved from you girls" out of nowhere, a shoe hits him in the face "What the heck, blondie?!"
"If the other guys received it, so do you, learn to be fair."
"Leni, even I can't comprehend the logic behind your words," Lisa said, turning off her machine.
"At least I fulfilled one of my dreams if being beaten by girls" everybody ignored Rusty's comment, however, the girls of the same age as he made mental notes not to approach Rusty ever again.
"Now that do we do?"!" cried Luan desperately. It was clear that the fight was somewhere else, and just imagining what might be going on with him, her concern increased.
"I think I know who can help us" Dave looked to his side, the boy ran, and a few seconds later came back, having subdued to a face known to the albino's friends, Trent.
"Great, a kiss of Chandler's ass, let me take care of him" Mollie cracked her knuckles, approaching to Trent.
"Mollie? Since when you care about Lincoln?" Mollie lifted him up.
"You got me, I hardly know snow hair, but being Jordan's best friend, I'll help her in any way I can."
"It doesn't matter anymore, we have to help Lincoln. Chandler's gang got him cornered with a BB gun, they're on the wasteland with the giant refrigerator."
"What?!" they all shouted, Chandler never intended a fair fight. Mollie applied a little more force.
"And how do we know it's not one of your boss traps?" Mollie asked back.
"I have no reason to lie to you, we're wasting our time! Trust me!" cried Trent desperately.
"Whether it's a trap or not, we should go. If it's true, Lincoln can get hurt," Paige said worriedly.
"Well, you come with us, I'll try to-oh please!" Lori saw how a crane carried Vanzilla, for parking in a forbidden place, her parents were going to kill her. Jordan could no longer bear the anxiety of knowing what the hell was going on, fortunately, she saw one of those stalls where you could rent a bike for two dollars.
The Rosato girl didn't hesitate to take one, the bad news was that there were only seven bikes including her's "Damn it, I suggest that those with greater physical capability go first, in case things get tense.
"Well dudes, Me and Luan should go."
"What about me?" Lori exclaimed, angry that they left her out.
"Lori, you have to be responsible for the others, without Lynn, and with Leni...being Leni, someone has to watch over the kids" Lori seemed to hesitate, so Luna put her hand on her shoulder "I swear by the honor of rock and roll, and of our family, that I will bring back our little bro" with a mixture of doggy eyes and determined look, she got the permission of the eldest. In the end, those who would go with the bikes would be Luna and Luan on the sister's side, Jordan, Mollie, and Dave for being in better physical condition, Clyde for insisting that he should be with his best friend, and Trent, to keep an eye on him, more if there was a conflict, use his friendship with Chandler to his advantage.
"Ah, I hope this is worth it for some cardio," Lori said resignedly, guiding the rest of her sisters and Lincoln's remaining friends, would take longer to arrive, but they would be. From the corner of her eye, Leni noticed a familiar shadow, running in the opposite direction, even with the difference in hairstyle, there was no doubt she is—
"Come on, Leni!" Lori pulled her arm so she wouldn't stay behind. Seeing her sister's face of irritation, the dressmaker opted for silence, as she didn't want to be scolded.
A little further on, Luna, Luan, and Clyde were at the head of the group of bikes, closely followed by Clyde and Jordan. Further back, there was Trent looking down, someone stopped him before crossing the street.
"Red light means stop, idiot" Mollie said, signaling that the others would get ahead of themselves. Trent just whispered an apology.
"Tell me what happened? For Chandler to resort to something so serious, it means that Lincoln should've annoyed him a lot," Mollie said, looking at Trent with genuine curiosity, from the outside, Lincoln is a weakling, but it seems that appearances deceive.
"Everything happened so fast..." Trent looked at the figure at the traffic light, where a drawing of a person was running, to show how much time the pedestrian had left to cross. Just like Lincoln did, using it to his advantage.
"You're not a bad person."
Trent was stoned, looking into Lincoln Loud's eyes, and while he was doing the same, at the same time he moved things inside his backpack. He Could feel Lincoln really believed in those words.
Lincoln is a little battered, the albino knew his conditions better than anyone, a fight with fists would be a suicidal mission, no one would let his guard down after knocking Scott out in one hit. He chose to use his agility to attack and hide, although he could not avoid being hurt. For everyone, Chandler's attitude, recharged his back on the fence, as if nothing were happening, logic dictated that he hoped he would not have to move a finger, were it not for the favors he had done them, both Billy and Mike had recriminated such passivity.
"Well done four-eyes!" Billy appeared behind Lincoln, holding him from behind tightly. Trent, in complete silence, walked after Billy, who contained Lincoln's attempts to break free, until he got to Mike and Chandler's side. Mike snuck his knuckles, then gave Lincoln a couple of punches in the stomach, to leave him breathless "that's for not letting me flirt with Paige."
"Mike, enough."
"Oh, come on, Chandler! As soon as I'm just getting started," Mike complained at his boss's command.
"I want you to check his backpack, I want to see what toys his nerd sister made, and use them against him," Chandler said, his arms folded, imposing his authority.
Lincoln moved his lips, but he understood nothing, Billy yelled at him what he meant, as he pressed him more "Don't...open...it."
"Well, now I feel more like it! It's most going to be another Ace Savvy fan comic!" Mike walked to where Lincoln had left his backpack, looking after the three of them. However, both Chandler and Trent noticed Lincoln starting to smile. "Here's the green thing-"
"Mike! No-!" Lincoln whispers a single word.
"Boom..."
With almost perfect synchronization with Lincoln's whisper, a small explosion with green smoke in the area, however, from where the rest was, they could already smell the stinking smell, from the inside it had to be unbearable. Lincoln took the opportunity to kick Billy in the shin, when he was free, he pulled out of his pocket a small jar with a yellow liquid, spraying it all over Billy's body.
"That won't be enough to beat me," smiled Billy arrogantly, ready to fight.
"I know, but before this, they want to say hello," said Lincoln ahead of him. Billy's smile was transformed into an expression of horror, seeing dozens of flies approaching him as if they were bees, screaming like a child as he fled the zone. On land like this, people without values threw garbage, which attracted flies, which together terrify anyone. Lincoln used it in his favor.
Mike came out of the smoke, squeezing his nose while cursing the four winds the unbearable smell. As soon as he looked up, he saw Lincoln running towards, connecting a series of punches, at last knocking him out. "That's for Paige, and for all the girls you harassed," Lincoln said annoyed, then seeing Trent, who was shaking. He never expects to see this dark side of the kind Lincoln Loud, he was finished, or so he believed.
Out of nowhere, Trent hear a slight sound, followed by a cry from Lincoln, who held hold on tightly to his right arm. As he turns around, saw Chandler pointing at Loud with a BB gun.
"What a surprise, you're smarter than expected," Chandler said, walking slowly to the front of Lincoln "but it's over."
"You're a bastard" Lincoln looked him in the eye "because of you Cameron killed himself!" This surprised both bullies, that shy boy, had taken his own life?! Trent knelt in shock, this wasn't supposed to happen, it was just a game. His mind is eating him alive, however...
"And the point is...?" Trent looked up, to see how Chandler smiled at Lincoln, without any remorse, even smiled gracefully "one less coward in this world."
This angered Lincoln, who slapped Chandler, managing to take the gun away from him, to start struggling, saying things to each other. Trent looked at the BB gun lying near him, his mind was out of control, collecting everything he's been through when he was with Chandler. the reasons for being by his side, damn it. In a blink, seeing that Lincoln was being subdued, with his back glued to a dumpster. Trent took the bb gun, firing four times in Chandler's back, who cried in pain and let Lincoln go free, who didn't believe what just happened either.
"Is everything to you a game?!" cried Trent, with tears coming out of his eyes, with Chandler writhing in pain, but making visual counter "This has already come too far!"
Chandler, helplessly sat on his knees, still in his condition, gave him a smile "why aren't I surprised by this? I knew you were good at nothing, a lapdog following the hand that fed you."
"Shut up!"
"To let this affect you, you didn't know him at all, nobody talked to that fool, nobody helped him, now you cry for him!? We all are a ball of hypocrites!"
"Shut up, Chandler!" cried Lincoln, but this one continued with a blunt phrase.
"Your hands are just as stained as mine! You killed him too!"
"Ahhhhhhhh!"
With a scream, mixing various emotions, Trent shot once again, pointing at the chest this time, without thinking how dangerous this was. Now, it was his turn to be surprised. A bandaged hand belonged to Lincoln had saved Chandler, who was also speechless. In a panic, Trent ran to see Lincoln, who is holding a bleeding hand, asking him why he did it.
"In my...backpack there is...a first aid kit...go get it." He only received that answer, now on the other side of the fight, Trent ran down the backpack, taking air as the smell remained extraordinarily strong. Quickly, he took the backpack out of the toxic air, it was his imagination, but he claimed Lincoln was slightly further away. Just before being with him again, Trent was punched hard in the face, violently hit the ground, even his glasses split. It took him a minute to get back to himself, seeing that Lincoln was asking him if he was okay, but in a blurry way, notice nothing, not the backpack, not the gun. That.
"You leave me speechless Loud" on the other side of the contender, Chandler came out, taking his distance, carrying the backpack, while he was reading a folder, this really scared Lincoln. "I don't know how the hell you got this, but thank you" from his pocket, Chandler takes out a lighter, which he always came to show off at school, showed the folder closed, to set it on fire.
"Damn..." whisper Lincoln, trying to get up, now all the evidence against Chandler was gone.
"What a relief, I feel calmer with this out, I'm lucky...or maybe not, because the truth is going to be known," Chandler started talking, always with the gun pointing at Lincoln.
"What?"
"Trent, you'll be the culprit, you know? For hurting me and Lincoln with this gun."
"I'm not going to let you...I will destroy all your lies." said Lincoln, who is just beginning to get up.
"Lincoln! Why did you protect him?! If—"
"I couldn't leave you, even if it's Chandler...you have an impressive talent with the guitar, a street fight would ruin everything. I don't want you to...anger your father..." Trent opened his eyes more. Of course, at one point, he told his friends, including Lincoln, how strict his old man at home is, how he was old school, if he finds out about this, it would be the end of Trent.
"Whoa...you didn't protect me, but Trent. This is going to get worse," Chandler spoke again, with that confident smile "If things become serious, it will be determined that I and Trent had the gun, but let's say I have evidence that I can manipulate into my favor. So, Trent will be blamed for everything!"
"Don't worry Trent, I won't let him get away with it...leave it to me I'll kill this madman!"
"Hahaha...you can still move, Lincoln" Chandler smiled calmly "really, you're...surprising. I want to see what this Lincoln is capable of! Show me all that courage! You and me, for the last time!"
"Chandler..." so this was Chandler's real face, a face of a limitless madman.
"Trent, leave..." Lincoln stared at him "this is between me and that madman, run away, you can't get into this anymore" Lincoln got up, holding his wounded hand. He wanted to help, be by Lincoln's side, but things could go wrong, his band wouldn't want to hear from him. That belt, that leather shoe, over and over again, that fear was coming back.
"I'm sorry Lincoln!" Trent ran out without seeing back, opened the fence and ran, to get help. He is a complete coward and selfish person. Yet in his mind, he wondered. Who were they really?
Mollie simply stared at Trent on the edge of crying. His conscience is already doing its job on torturing him, leaving him alone for now. The Loud sisters would kill him when they found out. As soon as they turned the corner of the wasteland, a flash of light blinded them from afar. That effect would leave them blinded for a few minutes, they were both lucky. When they regained their sight, everyone saw Mollie standing in front of him, contemplating the scene. This went much further.
Scott, Mike, and Billy are knocked out, there were BB bullets everywhere, Lincoln's polo shirt, plus Chandler's favorite bracelet in a red spot. But this was not the worst thing, in a dumpster, something was written with black feathers
'Karma collects its sins'
In around ten minutes, the rest of the group arrived, who also contemplated the scene in horror, seeing the broken objects, is a light line of blood, everything. Leni was the first to fall into tears, followed by the twins. Lisa inspected the area calmly, noticing something the rest didn't, so she went to check, it was a binary code someone left, Lincoln? Indeed, she taught him basic binary code for d. The message left her more questions than with answers.

Some came closer, looking for a trail of Lincoln or Chandler, but there was no sign of any of them. They still couldn't resort to the police option, for fear that Lincoln would be severely punished.
"What a madman..." an unrecognized voice of listening, lying on the ground, Scott opened his eyes. Jordan took it in anger from his shirt, she was faster than the rest.
"Where's Lincoln!" Jordan cried loudly, her eyes shining to hold on to tears.
"I don't know, I hate to admit that he knocked me out first..." he started talking "in a blink, I see Chandler pointing Lincoln, in another, at Lincoln attacking Chandler like a beast...it was like seeing a psychopath in action, he had it hidden from him—" someone knocked Scott out again, but not Mollie, Jordan, or one of the sisters. It was Clyde.
"Silence! Lincoln is not like that!" Lucy could notice that grudge in Clyde's soul, it was the first time she saw it, and hopefully the last.
"With the eyewitness unconscious, I suggest collecting evidence from the scene, either for a clue to find his current location, or to support Lincoln in a future investigation. Please don't touch or move anything, Lola and Leni" Lisa was just as calm as ever, something the sisters didn't like because she showed no concern for her brother, but that's Lisa. Wrong, the genius just tries to remain calm in this heated situation.
The investigation took half an hour, no result. Trent chose to tell his version, some had to protect him so that he would not be beaten, he was a coward, something Trent accepted remorsefully. When things seemed to stagnate, something came.
"Attention, I just got a message from our brother," Lisa said calmly in the world, Lori snatched her cell phone to see.

Lincoln: Don't hurt Chandler-4:49 PM
Below were coordinates of Google Maps, which showed a place in Royalwoods, the old hospital, a place of thugs. Lori's heart stopped at this, as did many when he knew it. Without thinking, everyone ran to that place, it was only three blocks away, so it wouldn't take anything to get there. The only thing that bothered others is that message "Don't hurt Chandler," what logic did that make? But it didn't matter, very soon they'd get their answer. Arriving at the entrance, Luna kicked the door open, they saw several things and people, a mirror with several cracks by blows was in front of two shadows, which they recognized at the time, one moved to attack the other who was on his knees. The next, it was a cry that did not come by someone from the group.
"Lincoln!"
A loud sound, and then...absolute silence, this shouldn't be happening.
