~A week later~
"Y/n!" Peter swings into the living room with a panicked look falling face flat in front of everyone. Though Loki just rolled his eyes, getting back to his book.
"What is it?"
"I need help with my AP history project," he stumbles to his feet.
"Seriously? That's it? What's it on?"
"England, 1800s,"
"Oh, that's a nice one," putting down your hand of cards, you win the pile of candy which caused everyone to groan. "Anything specific?"
"Jack the ripper," your eyes glint at the name.
"Lucky you, I was actually in London during that time, I moved because of the industrial revolution and god was it amazing!"

Steam blew out of tunnels, incapsulating the train as it pulled into the station. The platform bustled with workers and people looking for their dreams to come true.
With your ruby red suitcase held tight in hand you adjusted your skirt and exited the station-

You deadpan to Pietro. "Fine,"

It was a quiet night and your evening walk was disturbed by a scream of bloody murder. It wasn't uncommon for such noises, and the approaching officers were going to be able to handle it.
So you went on your merry way, out of east end and to the more wealthy part of London.
It wasn't until the next morning you realised you were a witness, more so of the audible part, of a gruesome murder.
You were questioned of course, having being seen there that night and for being an acquaintance to Mary Ann Nichols.

"Oh yes, I was a friend of hers, sweet girl, horrible demise," popping a gummy in your mouth you continued.

The papers went crazy for the next month. Writing about the infamous Jack, his killings, motives and letters. You had quite the time reading the letters and the details about the package that came with one of them.
Scotland Yard acted as though everything was under control but the more bodies were found the more citizens went into a frenzy of fear.
Of course you knew who the killer was... but it was fun to watch the police play cat and mouse with Jack... you weren't exactly the nicest person back then.

"You know who Jack the Ripper is?!" Banner gapes.
"Well duh," nibbling on your third chocolate bar the group leans forward for you to continue. "What?"
"Aren't you going to tell us?" Thinking for a moment you shrug.
"Fine, it was Joseph Barnett, Mary-Jane's boyfriend,"
"The fish porter??" Tony slaps his forehead. "Of course! He killed to scare his girlfriend!"
"Smart one aren't you," you hand over a box that seemed to appear from thin air to Peter. "That has some newspaper clippings from the papers... and a funny comic about Jack that was just brilliant,"
"Thank you, Y/n!" Peter gives you hug before stuffing the box in his bag. "You're the best, that was a cool story too,"
"You son of a bitch... you made me tell a story for free!" The group snickers.
"Technically, you got candy,"
"Technically, I won that," you shoot back to Bucky. "Now if you'll excuse me I need hide this away before Wanda takes another mint,"
"Wha-? I'd didn't steal anything!" She says with a mouth full of mints.
"Mhm, sure,"

"Thor," the blonde turns to Loki who had actually been listening to the story, before following his adoptive brother to the kitchen. "How is Lady Y/n still alive having lived centuries ago?"
"She's not a Midgardian, she is of another world, though cast out to live here,"
"Her date of birth?"
"D/M/815 AD,"
"Younger than me by a century or so..." Loki mumbles in thought.
"But just as intelligent, I do dare say," Thor takes out a pop tart and offers Loki one.
"No, thank you,"
"She may become a great companion of yours as she has with I, her curiosity is quite the stunner, no doubt her beauty too, don't you think?" Thor watches Loki's eyes dart around the features of your face.
"For once I agree... do you court her?"
"Oh, no, I'm still entangled with Jane, but be my guest, brother, she is quite the fit for you,"
"For me?" Loki scoffs. "I'm not looking to court such a lower being,"
"Let her not hear you say such things, you may face her wrath," Thor chuckles.
"She may very well try to beat me in a spar but her delicate face may just regret it,"
"You think her face delicate?" Loki's scrunched up face made Thor laugh like the thunder he controls. "Fret not, I will not mutter a word," Thor walks away with the box of treats.
"Mutter a vowel and I may swipe that grin off your face with my dagger, you oaf!" Loki snaps.
"Remember the rules, Loki, no hurting anyone outside of training," Loki looks at Vision who held a cup of tea.
"Prince Loki to you, toaster," Vision watched as Loki walked off, impatient steps fading down the hall.
