hwayoung's pov
i woke up at 6:30 a.m. as usual. tied up my hair in a bun style and went to take a shower. it was raining that day so i used the water heater
i wear the uniform that was prepared and also took a cardigan cause it was freezing cold. i went downstairs and saw that my brother was already waiting for me
my brother's name is park serim.
[40 minutes later, at school]
the driver stopped the car infront of the school gate. i hold my brothers hand as we walked inside the school together with an umbrella
"don't do anything stupid okay? study well" he said and ruffled my hair
"i will. bye selm!" i let go of his hand and ran into my class
"good morning hwayoung!!" it was my best friends, heejin and aecha
"good morning!" i replied cheerfully
"someone's been waiting for you" taeyoung muttered
"waiting for me?" i asked
"yeah you" hyeongjun answered
"who?" i asked again
they didn't reply and all they did was giggling
i didn't understand what was going on and didn't really care so i dragged heejin and aecha to the cafe
[ school cafeteria ]
i was munching my sandwiches when something caught my attention. it was taeyoung and his friends. him, hyeongjun, seongmin and.. minhee
kang minhee was our class president. smart, handsome, athletic. everyone admire him. including me. i kept staring at him, admiring his features. suddenly he also looked at me. i quickly throw my head to the other direction. did he noticed?

minhee's pov
"minhee... hwayoung was looking at you~" hyeongjun teased.
"wh-what? no she's not. maybe she was looking at someone else" i denied
"minhee.. we know you like her" seongmin stated
"yes i do... "
"what are you waiting for? go on, make a move" hyeongjun
"wait for the perfect timing"
the bell rang and it was time for us to go to class. the teacher didn't give us any work but nonetheless we had to finish notes for other subjects. i sit at the very back of the class because i was the tallest
i could see hwayoung's side profile from where i was sitting. her chubby cheeks, i always wanted to squish it. her beautiful
pink lips that i always wanted to taste-
"kang minhee pabo!" i muttered to myself. i stopped my daydream and continued to write on my book
hwayoung's pov
the bell rang and it was time to go home.
"bye guys" i bid good bye to my friends and walked to the bus stop. my brother is staying at school today so i had to go home alone. it was still raining and that's when i forgot my umbrella
i ran back to class and bumped into minhee. "hwayoung, you forgot this" he said and gave me my umbrella
"thank you" i smiled
"no problem" he returned the smile and we both exited the school. i opened my umbrella and was about to walk out of the gate when he grabbed my hand
"are you walking home?" he asked
"yes. why?"
"can we walk together?"
we knew where we lived and it's actually nearby so i wouldn't mind
"but im gonna go the the convenience store first"
"im okay with that.. "
"okay let's go"
we walked side by side. it was still raining but not heavily, nonetheless we still had our umbrellas on the top of our heads
we arrived at the store and saw a familiar group of friends
"hwayoung?"
"selm?"
