The book was written by Satomi, Cary Huang, and a Scholastic employee. It is currently not available outside of the United States and is only available in English and Spanish.

IDFB... one of BFDI's greatest mysteries. Have you ever noticed how in BFB, it's barely ever mentioned? The only reference to it is one mention of the wall teleporter, and the word "Yoyle" is never even said - with the exception of the occasional catchphrase of "Yoylecake!" Not to mention that in the short Paper Towel, the Yoyle Needy is visible behind Yoyle Mountain, yet it's completely gone in BFB. So she gathers a group willing to come and they are ready to start their adventure on their pirate ship, even with pirate gear to match! So then, Pin and her mighty crew consisting of Needle, Leafy, Firey, Snowball, Ruby, Flower, and of course, Coiny, go off on adventures on the sea. They encounter things like sea monsters, a tribe of other objects, and maybe even love!
