Nico di Angelo is a normal 16 year old boy. Or so people thought. Behind closed doors, Nico is a depressed teen dealing with his abusive boyfriend Nathaniel. One day, the abuse becomes too much and Nico runs into the woods in seek of escape. What he didn't realize is, there is more creatures in the forest he's grown up near almost all his life. Will Solace is a normal 18 year old. In his world that is. Will is a werewolf. He is the heir to his father's throne. As the Alpha's son, he needs a mate in order to rule the pack and carry on the Alpha generation. But, each werewolf is linked with another person at birth. The parents have nothing to do with it. He was supposed to find his mate at age 16, but he hasn't. His wolf, Sol, has been saying he feels like the werewolf females are not his type. And when his parents allow him to meet werewolf males, he still doesn't feel any connection to any of them. When he sees a small male human brought forcefully into the pack, he suddenly feels something he hadn't felt before. A mate's connection. But, how would Will's pack react to having a human alpha? As royalty, Will Solace had his life planned out the day he was born. His parents control everything he does, including who he has to marry. They've picked a girl named Bianca Di Angelo, who is a princess from an ally kingdom. Their marriage will seal an alliance which will help both kingdoms. Since they've never met each other, their parents arrange for Bianca to stay at the castle for a while. She brings her brother Nico along with her, to keep her company. The marriage doesn't go exactly as planned... Will takes one look at the couple and falls in love... With Nico. Prince Will Solace is trapped by fists and knives behind the golden facade of the castle. Also behind those opulent gates, nekos-beings who can transform into cats-are oppressed and treated as mere servants. Among them is Nico di Angelo, a neko with a mysterious past but a strong talent for somehow managing to make the prince believe that perhaps everything is going to be okay. They spend their nights in the castle kitchens, becoming accustomed to each other's presence far more quickly than either would be willing to admit. That is, until things that a turn, and life very quickly becomes very /not/ okay. Nico and Will each pack their bags, not realizing that they're not the only ones fleeing tonight. A prince and a neko: two different worlds, perhaps, but a great love story nonetheless. - Used to be titled "Neko/Royalty AU." Currently under edits.

Ever since Will was ten, he had been deaf. He couldn't even hear his own sobs crying through the house, wishing he could hear his mothers sweet voice. Nico since being born was deaf. He was lucky enough to have treatment to hear when he was around ten. Nico felt like he should never had been brought this gift. It should have been for someone important. Not him.

Nico di Angelo- The child of Hades. He was a depressed ball of rage wherever he went. He preferred spending his time in his cabin, alone. He would often forget to take care of himself such as go outside to eat. Nobody would ever like him. Or so he thought... Will Solace- The child of Apollo. Basically a dream. He lifted everyone's spirit as soon as he walked through the door. He literally glowed when he was happy, which was most of the time. He was the best healer out of the whole camp. Come on, who wouldn't have the hots for a smart, hot, teen doctor? So out of all the people he could've found interesting, why Nico? That's what the child of Hades is trying to figure out while he's oblivious to the complete obvious. Might Will actually have a chance to break down Nico's walls and find the key to his heart?
