Phan AU. In a world where super powers plague people all over the world, Dan Howell fights to keep his emotions and pyrokinesis under control. After years of success, Dan is outed and whisked away to a school that claims to teach him to use his abilities "safely". Still unable to control the fire that seems to rage under his skin, Dan's only solace is in his roommate Phil, who can't seem to stop turning things to ice. While trying to end the corruption at the school, the team discovers the real reason they're being held. In an explosion of fist fights, supersuits, and betrayal, Dan and Phil try to do what they feel is right.

Dan and Phil are children together, best friends from the offset. Even as they drift apart Phil's little lights stay with Dan and he carries the theory with him through into old age.

The United Kingdom isn't so united anymore. Rebellions nobody can even remember the cause of, cause panic throughout what's left of Great Britain. The Government have one too many secrets and Dan Howell is about to know them all. Of course, it isn't his fault his dad's an egotistical liar and his mum's a sociopath.
