Anne with an "E" fanfiction ( Season 4 ) Anne and Gilbert navigate their emotions and the idea of seeing each other after such an abrupt separation. They put their feelings into words as they set out on a new adventure together in figuring out who they want to be and their relationship - an unfamiliar territory for then both. When he unexpectedly returns, it will turn her life upside down, in a variety of emotional ways. Romance has always bewitched the imaginative Anne, but when it knocks on her hearts door, will she be brave enough to lock it up?
