Because the sisters were both minors, they were put in the Ark's lockup instead of being floated. Julia thought she would spend the rest of her life in prison, but she was wrong. She, along with ninety-nine others, were sent to Earth. There she reunites with her siblings and John Murphy, her best friend and fellow prisoner. But the ground isn't all that it seems. They face danger from many places, both expected and unexpected. Refusing to admit who the father is, she is all alone. This all changes when she is sent to the ground and sees him again. In their time on the ground, they make friends, enemies, learn, and make mistakes.
