TNTduo Vampire AU (human!Quackity & vampire!Wilbur) Warnings: abuse, religious trauma, assault, descriptions of violence, unhealthy relationships, descriptions of depression/self harm/suicide This fic WILL probably be uncomfortable! You've been warned!! Also it's about the characters, NOT content creators!! Quackity can't stomach anything scary. Gore and ghouls and blood are most certainly not his forte. Unfortunately, after meeting Wilbur, he might just have to learn to adjust. His life does a very sudden 180 after one fateful Halloween night when he first becomes acquainted with a few members of the vampire coven that have apparently been in this town for generations. Mysterious disappearances and circumstances are starting to make more sense, and, unfortunately for Quackity, he now knows far too much to be left alone by a certain outcast vampire. It was actually originally going to be an original work which I adapted to be a fic for the internet. My fanfiction doesn't support Wilbur monetarily. Rewrite of my fic "paint splattered scars"! Now featuring as never seen before: Plot and consistency!!! TW: child abuse, self harm, depression, homophobia and other heavy angst topics. Stay safe!! I won't be tagging super specifics before each chapter, but I'll try to tag the big ones. Just be aware that pretty much every chapter is gonna be sad. Summary: For as long as George can remember, his life has been shit, and, for some god forsaken reason, it just keeps getting worse. His abusive uncle and his high school bully and a thousand other instances in between make George's life feel nothing short of miserable. Until Dream. Dream is a lot of things. A painter, George's bully's best friend, and someone who George is lightly terrified of. Dream has been dealing with his own life and is hurting more than George might've realized that first day they met on the bus. None of these motherfuckers know how to cope. Not a bit. But they're trying?

"Yeah, we're out," he concedes when he gets an annoyed look from Dream. --- OR: George hates his lonely apartment until he meets Dream, his new cryptic roommate, who he thinks might have killed a few people. Life gets increasingly strange... and dangerous... with Dream around. But George can't quite bring himself to care because, hey, Dream can cook and he's kinda cute. --- OR: Dream is a killer, and George knows it. But he can't bring himself to care because he's 100% falling for him. --- Overall TW for murder, depictions & descriptions of violence/attacks, symptoms of depression, discussions of SA (sorta), etc. Chapters will NOT have individual TWs because of spoilers, but if these aren't for you I suggest skipping this one. George, almost the perfect bully's punching bag, finally meets the one person who will stand up for him. His bully's best friend. Even though George's life is in /shambles/, he's trying to find some comfort in his new...erm- friend. Unfortunately, he really can't just catch a break. Between his complicated relationship with his bully's best friend and the tragedies that occur as a result. Dream meets George, and immediately understands that something must be off. He wanted to make him feel better, and as he slowly makes more and more discoveries about George and his past, the worse it seems. Dream's in way over his head, not even considering the fact that he lives alone at 17 with his little sister to take care of. Sapnap also has issues. Every dream team member is traumatized and they all get their time to shine. Karl's here too. TW: self-harm, abuse, angst, bullying (there will be more in-depth TWs at the beginning of every chapter) DISCLAIMER: characters have nothing to do with the cc's, or even *really* their dsmp characters. this is basically angst & romance just using their names, which i *pretty* normal. It's very canon divergent. I did NOT create the art for the cover, just the text!!! George is something of a monster. He's almost completely human, other than the fact that he can't touch sunlight and is confined to the shadows of the empty space under the bed. His best friend, Clay, has known him since they were six. Now, as their friendship grows stronger, Clay is searching for a way to bring his best friend out of the shadows and into the real world, despite all the perils that lie there, waiting for George. Overall TW for: eating disorders angsty stuff murder (more in depth tw's at the starts of chapters) I put the text on the cover, but the art is by Okkariko on twitter :))
