When she was but a child, she saw a mercreature. It didn't look like Ariel. It looked more like a siren from tales her grandfather told her about. Because of her wild imagination, she had a bad childhood. She faced bullying, abuse, assault, and many different things. (Y/n) became quiet. Only talking to her family and her service dog. She had learned very quickly that animals are more forgiving than humans. That they don't judge and love you or hate you regardless of any flaw or perfection. She dedicated herself to learning about animals. Sure it might've been an excuse to get away from everyone, but she was happy. Her parents had bought a private island years ago and only used it as a summer vacation area. (Y/n) was gifted it after a grand celebration on some of her studies on species. Her parents were always so supportive and gave her all the money she needed to survive. Every weekend, (Y/n) went back to land to get her necessities. Besides that, every weekday consisted of studying and spending time with her service dog. One day, some bad winds came in. The waves were getting too high and rough. She got knocked out and soon woke up 1000 yards from shore. About a half a mile, but when in a rough sea, anything could happen.
