Inside the walls, a deadly snow like rain to fall and most people that were affected by the snow changed into monsters known as Changed that attacks anyone that isn't them or Titans. For years people have been traveling through the containment zone and fight all the Change and any Titans that attack them, or people that are trapped in the containment zones. Some of the people also decide to use the Titans' power to change themselves into monsters. There are also those who want to use the power of the Titans to rule the world. There are also people known as Manifestations which are people, mostly female, who gain abilities from the Snow, and they are the ones who usually explore the Containment zones since they are immune to the snow's corruption and can't become a Change. Y/N L/N, one of the only hundred Javelin fighters in the world is currently fighting against any Titan or Changed in the Containment Zone. Things continue at a steady pace of exploring the containment zone, fighting Changed and other fighters, and getting back home to get yelled out by his bosses. That is the case until a new adjutant joins the group.

He was told stories by his grandfather who supposably was best friends with the original vault hunter. Even though Y/N joined the Helghast military, he wished that he joined his father's adventure of finding a vault. Y/N eventually finds a chest left to him by his father with a Jacob revolver, A shield, and echo. The echo is a log from F/N telling his son to meet him on Pandora to help him find the vault. Y/N heads to Pandora to find his father but also to help a man named Jack find a vault on Pandora's moon Elpis.

Constructs were created to deal with the new threat and human commanders were trained to lead the constructs to battle. Y/N L/N, was a commandant of Babylonia, specifically in charge of Lucia's squad. They were one of the most successful teams that Babylonia has ever seen. Except, that all changed during a co-op mission with Simon's squad. During the mission, Simon left Y/N and his squad behind with the Corrupted which resulted in Y/N becoming injured and his squad dying from the killer machines. Y/N was then rescued by Simon's squad and sent back to Babylonia. Y/N lost his title of commandant and was demoted to being a regular soldier. Y/N hated being a lousy soldier and decided to become a construct to fight against the Corrupted. Y/N became an elite construct whose skills were on par with most of Babylonia's elite constructs. Y/N then worked with the Purifying Force until he encountered an unknown ascendant and during the battle Y/N was infused with Punishing Virus and in turn became an ascendant. Y/N was then hunted down by his new team, but they were easily defeated by Y/N's new power. Y/N spared his new team and told his former leader, Bianca Veritas, that he is no longer a part of Babylonia and that he is going to create his own base one that is better than Babylonia right before he vanished without a trace. A few years have passed since Y/N's last appearance, but a new group shortly formed on Earth right after Y/N vanished. They call themselves "The Rogues", and they seem to fight against any groups from Babylonia but still protect humanity and help anyone in need. Little is known about the group except for that they live somewhere in City 015, and they follow an ascendant nicknamed "The Ascendant Commandant".

Over a century later, Y/N L/N, a twenty-eight-year-old CELL Recon soldier, spends his days guarding the CELL dome from any rapture that gets close to the walls. Y/N hates his job and wishes that he would go to the Ark like his parents and sister did over ten years ago, but he was forced to stay and work with his older brother Trevor in order to pay off their family's debt to the CELL government. Everything was moving along at a leisure pace until one mission went south and Y/N and Trevor were left behind and Trevor was killed by the raptures.
