We might learn a little more about why the late Professor's research is so important and perhaps, even find out what happens next. *** This short story is slightly longer than the first and will span over several chapters. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm planning about 5 to 6 shortish chapters. There'll be no real cliffhangers at the end - just like the first, it might be 'open-ended', but in essence a complete little story. I have ideas enough for more, but I often tend to bite off more than I can chew, so I'll make no promises about there ever being a third story. (Hope you're okay with that. I'd rather keep this short with a proper ending than start writing a monster of a story that I end up never finishing (even though I have the plot worked out) (every villain needs a fatal flaw - that's mine ))
