"Shit," I mumbled under my breath, but he must have heard me, he suppresses a grin as he reaches down to help me up. I blink hard, not believing any of this as I talk his hand. He lifts me to my feet and finally lets a smirk set on his lips. "I'm assuming by your face you know who I am?" I only swallow hard and nod at his question. "So what's your name?" "A-Alice," I stumble. He's about to say something when a car door to our right opens and a head pokes out, a head that left my words fall out of my clogged throat and into my stomach. "Hey Jared, who's the chica?" I felt my face flush a tint pink as I stared at the two boys in front of me. "She's gonna come hang with us," Jared smiled at me. "If that's ok with her boyfriend, of course," Jared hinted looking behind me. I was snapped out of my funk as I looked behind me and coughed. My brother, who was just as shocked as I was, shook his head speechless. He finally found words. "Dude. I wouldn't date her for the world," He swallowed. "She's my sister," he explained.
