The Valiant One

"When Aslan bears his teeth winter meets its end. When he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again." Many years had passed since she had last seen Narnia, and not a day went by that Lucy Pevensie didn't think about it. She longed to return to the land of magic that she practically grew up in, but she also knew that she never could. Why? Simple, she had grown up. No longer was she the little girl who had discovered the winter wood in the wardrobe, or became Queen in Cair Paravel. Now, she was an adult. A young adult, studying to become a woman in a world that thought she should be seen, not heard. Despite her longing, the youngest Pevensie had resigned herself to her fate. That is, until a certain professor of hers offers a chance she'd been waiting for. One, that she never believed could still exist. On a quest to take back a home once lost, she finds she has a purpose once again. And that may not be all she finds either.... (Takes place in the movie universe, a few years after the Voyage of the Dawn Treader)

He was rather comfortable with his minor position in the Government, working from the sidelines to keep England safe. No need for 'unnecessary leg work', yet he still could make an influence. These people couldn't have been more different. A gentle, emotional woman and man often referred to as 'The Ice Man'. Yet, they were alike in so many ways. So, what happens when they meet one another? Can the eldest Holmes see past the woman's quiet, dull, exterior to the interesting person with in? And can Pond break down the man's walls, and melt the ice with in his heart?

Her family was average, giving her love and encouragement as she grew up. Graduating High School with slightly above average grades, she attended a well known collage and got a degrees in journalism, psychology and criminology. Eventually she moved to London, getting a job as a freelance journalist, and occasionally helping Scotland Yard on a case (at a request of a friend of course). Sure, she was a little smarter than the average person, and had a tendency to annoy people with her ability to read them. But she always thought of her life as normal. That all changed when she met Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. After solving one case with them, she finds herself spending time at Baker Street, and falling head first into the dangerous life that comes with knowing the Consulting Detective. But you know what? She kinda likes it.
