After years of practice in Light Labs, the hushed talks of neighbors and strangers gossip of the child being overworked to meet impossible standards, only further spread once Phyllis finds her mental state deteriorating for reasons she and those around her can't understand. For the joys that she gets out of her work, and the joys she gets interacting with robots like Rock, she has no reason to have mental decay. Unable to stop the spiral as it races out of control, she finds herself awakened one hundred years in the future in the blink of an eye. This statue has persisted for ages, documented profusely and revered by those long departed. Although the lady's soft features frozen in time are recognized by all- no one could have expected that statue to one day shatter by happenstance over an avoidable, measly accident. More than that, no one expected a living person to emerge from the stone cocoon. With no memory and no way to communicate with those she's woken up to, our protagonist awakens to a world she doesn't know- one far older than one she remembers with a vastly different set of physics and natural laws.
