When I joined SHIELD as an agent, I made it a habit to write my SHIELD experiences down in a diary, not a day going by when something interesting did not happen. One day, a young agent (who was promptly put in the medical wing, by me) stole my diary and was reading it aloud to his friends when Fury came upon the group. Fury, much to my dismay, confiscated the diary and turned it into a handbook for all new recruits as required reading. A perfect example of what NOT to do at SHIELD.

Rebecca West Barnes is the middle child, an accident from the end of her mother's first marriage, attempting to go through the last two years of her high school career with a strong finish so she can graduate and take on life headfirst. She feels stuck, even though she knows she's well off. She loves her family, but at the same time, she wants to escape from her almost too normal life. She wants to travel and see the world, and she wants to make a difference. James Monroe Barnes is happy going to high school with his older sister, who was also his best friend. Rebecca always encouraged any interests he showed when he was little, and Hannah, though sometimes confused at them, supported him in all that he did. He couldn't have gotten to the point he was without them. Yet, James also feels like they don't notice him anymore. In his mind, his sisters are getting ready to leave him behind, and he doesn't think he's ready for that. Through all the trials and tribulations of the Barnes siblings, they all have another thing in common. Each and every one of them struggles with their legacy. Their great grandfather, James Buchanan Barnes. World War II hero, and Captain America's best friend.

Being the younger sister of those two always made her feel inferior, but having a photographic memory gave her a little boost. She uses her gift to become one of the best M16 agents England has ever seen. But bearing the name of Holmes always brings danger, no matter on what scale. Whether it's one of her brother's cases or a national emergency, Raybould always gets herself in hot water. She should've known the day would come when she was faced with cases of her own. ***Based off of real Sherlock Holmes stories/movies. This includes classics such as 'Dressed to Kill,' 'The Valley of Fear,' 'The Adventure of the Blanched Soldier,' and others.*** ***Most likely very slow updates.***
