Michael now took it upon himself to continue the Afton Robotics legacy alongside his mother, and Y/N's dad by working at Circus Baby's Pizza World. The news of William's arrest has spread like wildfire throughout their peaceful town. A family man, devoted father, and loving husband like William was a murderer. A serial killer. Michael finds himself never getting a break from the publicity, his father's crimes have made national headlines. Journalists come up to him trying to pry a story out of him, it all annoys Michael. The outlandish theories, all clickbait, suggest that Michael could potentially be a murderer too. Michael was in a familiar situation he knew all too well when he was 15, having a bad reputation around town.

Afton Robotics LLC; voted America's most reliable tech company since 1983, is known mainly for making animatronics for a pizzeria chain owned by Fazbear Entertainment. In fact, Mr. Afton is the co-owner of the local Fazbears Pizzeria. Y/N's parents assist in supplying Afton Robotics with minor technical supplies, when Afton finds out that the L/N's have potential in building his new line of animatronics he promotes them to executive technicians. However, this came with a small catch, they needed to move to the same state as Afton to work in his shop. Y/N L/N, caught up in the middle of her parent's careers, doesn't like this idea. She didn't want to leave her friends, childhood home, etc. But that's not the only con of moving... William Aftons son, Michael. The typical "teenage dirtbag", he and his gang of friends are known to be trouble. After moving into her new home, Y/N thinks that things couldn't get worse; she was in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. She soon finds out the Aftons live in her neighborhood, they actually live right across from her, Michael Afton was going to be her neighbor. Immediately Michael was a jerk to her, as she expected. The most unexpected thing, he's fallen for her.
