This is a Star Wars Rebels story that follows Ezra and the Ghost crew into finding a mysterious child. When Ezra gets captured only the kid can save him, but will the Ghost crew trust the former slave with Ezra's life? This story takes place after episode 8 Path of the Jedi. ☆ Star Wars Rebels FanFiction ☆ Four years after Ezra disappeared... Sabine has left the Rebellion due to changes in leadership. She now works as a freelance smuggler, and gives food and supplies to those in need. Her friend Crynn Sawyer and a droid named R4-S4, or 'Esther' for short, work as a crew in a ship called Red Dawn. Things were going well, Sabine does some odd jobs for extra credits (podracing) and they have saved many people. Then out of the blue, Ezra Bridger shows up and wants to be a part of the crew. Sabine is hesitant, but knows he will be a valuable asset. And maybe after all this time, Ezra still wants to be with her. May the force be with you ⋆ ꙳ * ✰

He doesn't want to end up hurting them because of the bounty on his head. But, realizing that being alone doesn't always mean surviving. Ezra must figure out if he needs to be with the Ghost Crew or alone to survive and whether or not he can finally find a new home and family after losing his and his family so long ago.

Ezra has been with the crew for eight months now and has grown stronger in the force. When the roughest day of Ezra's life comes and while messing with the Empire, he gets captured.
