"So you've fallen in love with a dwarf?" "What?! No!" When Gandalf came to Mirkwood with a quest of reclaiming Erebor, Alithia Thranduillell couldn't resist the thrill of an adventure. Without a word to anyone, not even her overprotective father, she ran away from home to join the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. After all, it was only to help them reclaim Erebor. Little did she know, a certain blond haired dwarf would come into her life and change it. Being the next in line for the throne after his uncle, Fili had a duty. He had to fight by his uncle's side to reclaim Erebor, their home. That was it. The last thing he expected from joining the quest was meeting an elf maiden and falling for her more and more with each passing day. But there was one problem: Thorin hated elves. Wounded in the Battle of the Five Armies, Thorin Oakenshield and his two nephews are brought to Rivendell. There, the three dwarves begin the long, arduous, and taxing road to recuperation and all Thorin wants it to be well enough to return to Erebor and his rightful place on that throne. Amara makes him want to punch something, but at the same time, with each day, his desire for her outweighs his aggravation with her. Amara of Rivendell has devoted her life to healing, but she never expected to meet someone like Thorin. The proud, stubborn dwarf challenges her to no end, and in return, she works him until he swears revenge. But along the way, she realizes there is more to the King Under the Mountain than meets the eye, and as they come to know one another, she becomes more determined to break down his walls and bring some happiness into his life. But, while Azog the Defiler is gone, another has taken his place and like his predecessor, has vowed to end the line of Durin for once and for all, and just might be successful in shattering the fragile peace Thorin and Amara find in each other's arms.

The Taurhelim are a forgotten race of people -- half dwarf, half elf. A hundred years before Smaug attacks Erebor, they were obliterated by orcs. Only one survived. Arien Feathalion, the last princess of the Taurhelim, has been hiding in Rivendell all these years. The elves taught her to write, to sing, to hunt, and to kill. But now she must leave. Aeolin of Lothlorien has been traveling across Middle Earth for a little over a hundred years. After a loss struck her heart, Lothlorien was more of a reminder of it than a home. Aeolin decides to stop by the Woodland Realm to see a friend and, of course, meets the King of Mirkwood. Intrigued by how such a hard man could raise such a kind son, she tends to push her luck with the king and may enjoy it just a bit too much. The time has come. Erebor still lies within the Lonely Mountain, and Smaug has not been sighted for years. The regal line of Durin must reclaim their homeland once more. But, when Gandalf the Grey tasks Ravonna the White, the greatest sorceress of Middle Earth, to join the Company, she faces many great obstacles that she never wished to encounter again. Finding love with Thorin Oakenshield was never her plan, but that was not the only surprise her fate had in store. Darkness had once again found a way to creep into and to corrupt her heart, but will Ravonna be able to banish it? Will she be successful in saving the line of Durin- or will she fail? Although Erebor is his once more, Thorin knows there is still a great threat to the peace of Middle Earth. Azog is gone, but another has taken his place and has sworn to finish what Azog began. Erebor is back, but it's sadly lacking in protection and as much as he hates the thought of it, Thorin knows there is one thing that will guarantee the safety and continuation of his line. War is coming and all Eirlys of Mirkwood wishes to do is fight alongside her brother Legolas and the other elves, united with Men and Dwarves in their attempt to quell the renewed tensions between them and the orc army of the north. But, her father, Thranduíl has other plans. Unite his kingdom with the newly reestablished kingdom of Erebor and use the power of both to defeat the orcs. An arranged marriage that neither side wants, but both sides need. But what happens when the two sides realize that maybe-just maybe-being together isn't quite as bad as they'd thought...
