When Zelda is forced to marry a tyrant that would bring her country to ruin, she lashes out at her new husband. The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. The people rejoiced in the victory, but when the evil returned, the hero did not. Watching the unstoppable destruction, the golden godessess buried the land of Hyrule in water, keeping their foe from conquering the kingdom. Hyrule is now only a word on a page to the people on the great sea. Even though Hyrule is lost to them, they still cling to old traditions. (Editing/Rewriting) Set in the time of Twilight Princess. Not in the same Plot. Rated T (Teen) for Strong Language Link and Zelda, miles apart in stature as the Knight and the Princess, but that didn't stop them from falling for each other. But what happens when reality strikes and one fatal mistake splits them, seemingly forever. 7 years later, while Hyrule is at War with the Gerudo, fate unites them again, albeit they aren't the same as they used to be. "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. When Link left Hyrule after the Twilight Invasion, he left Princess Zelda with a broken heart. He promised her that he would come back to Hyrule; back to her. But what happens when death attempts to interfere with a promise made long ago? (Post Twilight Princess) I love the movie for Princess Bride, and I thought it would be cool to make a LOZ version of it XD. It takes place after Twilight Princess :). Two years after Hyrule was saved from the Great Calamity, Ganon regains strength, awakens, and returns with a new plan - to marry Zelda. When Link and Zelda find out, they hide in the woods from him. Ganondorf's minions find them, beat up Link and take Zelda away. Link goes on a long, dangerous journey to save his princess from marrying the monster. But will he succeed this time?

In modern day Hyrule, Link is an orphan who lives in an orphanage. Because he is meant to be the Hero of Hyrule, his bunkmates get jealous and bully him for it. When Link enters first grade, he befriends Zelda, the most beautiful girl in Hyrule, and eventually falls in love with her. The two become inseparable, but everything changes when Zelda hits puberty; she vanishes and doesn't show up at school. Link tries to contact and find her, but no luck. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda. What if Link was on the verge of death? Goddess Hylia opened up a portal when the hylian hero Link was close to dying at the hands of Calamity Ganon, who has a way to stop the reincarnations. What if something went wrong? What if the triforces were mixed up? Ganondorf gets courage, Link becomes wise, Zelda becomes evil. Can the castle astronomer, Y/N, fix all this before it's too late? "Oh, Y/N!" Zelda cried "What do I do? I need to have Wisdom- not power!" Zelda flopped down on the stone steps. Y/N pats her friend's back "Maybe it's a mistake..?" "Hylia makes no mistakes!" Zelda bursts out. "Who could've ended up with Wisdom...?" Zelda muses. Y/N taps the princess lightly and points to Link, who is whistling quietly in the corner. "Remember when he fixed the guardian?"
