Three years.
Three years without his touch, without hearing his voice or having him there to pick her up off the ground when she needed it.
Three years.
Three years since the last time she saw him smile, felt him in the same room as her.
But it wasn't her fault.
He was quick to overreact, hard to make listen. Fighting, never ended well for them. She knew that from the beginning, but she wanted to find a way to make it work.
But that was three years ago.

Odessa was a smart girl, always has been. She was particularly book smart, but had a decent amount of street smarts. She couldn't tell anyone where to buy drugs, but she could defend herself if it came down to it. She just wasn't the smartest when it came to men and relationships. Which is why her previous relationship crashed and burned.

But that was three years ago, and now, Odessa was auditioning to be an ensemble dancer in an up and coming musical, Hamilton. Her entire life, she had loved to dance. And now, if she made this audition, she would get paid for doing what she loved. An actual dream come true.

For three years, Odessa had been building herself up so that she could bring herself to forget about him, but three years can go down the drain in the blink of an eye.

Alexandra Karev never wanted to be an intern again. She was a second-year resident, almost on her way to choosing a specialty, when everything changed. One moment, she and her best friends-Bailey Grey, Alice Grey, and her twin brother George Karev-were in the hospital basement, and the next, they were standing in Season 7 of Seattle Grace, staring at legends who weren't supposed to be there. The past was never supposed to be real. Derek Shepherd was supposed to be a myth, a man Alice and Bailey never got the chance to know. Alex was never supposed to work under a younger Teddy Altman or catch Cristina Yang's sharp, calculating gaze when she performed a little too well in surgery. She was never supposed to interact with her father-the younger version of Alex Karev-without him knowing who she really was. Now, stuck in a time where they don't belong, Alex must find a way to survive without changing history. But that's easier said than done when Cristina keeps pushing her, testing her limits, drawn to something in her that she can't quite place. When Teddy starts noticing her, watching her with the kind of intensity that sets Alex's heart racing. She was prepared to be a surgeon, not a time traveler. And she was definitely not prepared to fall for the two women who would shape her future in ways she never imagined. If they don't figure out how to fix this soon, Alex might not just lose her way home-she might lose her heart in the past. Disclaimer: Grey's Anatomy and all its characters, settings, and storylines belong to Shonda Rhimes and ABC. I do not own any part of the franchise and am writing this purely for fun, with no intent to profit. This is a work of fanfiction, and all original characters or changes to the storyline are my own.

"I can show how much of a 'little' guy I am." He said emphasizing the little. He came closer to me. Our lips were inches away. I could smell the scent of his cologne definitely not cheap. My breathing became uneven. "What's wrong princess? Cat got your tongue" He stroked my cheek. I leaned into his touch but he removed it. He pulled away grabbing another glass. I let out a breath. I turned around. Guess I have to do this the hard way. I leaned near to his ear. He tensed. "Teasing me is only making me wet. Imagine you inside me. Screaming your name. I guess you don't want that." I said seductively. I kissed his ear. I walked toward the hallway by the bar leading to different rooms. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Adelina Madden is a 28-year-old who got fired from her job. "My name's Elijah, by the way. It's nice to meet you, window-girl." She liked that name: Elijah. "I doubt you're even listening, but, look, I'm not here to cause problems, you know? I'm just here to chat. It can get lonely when we segregate ourselves into our own little world. I mean, maybe you like it in there," he continued, as she stared at the door separating them, "but, in case you don't, I'd like to offer my company." Instead of panicking, Liza could only focus on four words he'd said. 'Our own little world.' How had he known? She was in her own little world, consisting of her, her dog, the condo, and now, maybe . . .? Her voice was barely a croak when she spoke to him for the first time. "I'm listening." ***鈥 A horribly tragedy left Liza Garner tucked inside her condo, the only safe place she knew, terrified of the outside world and the people within it. Especially men. A change in living brought Elijah Harris into a nice new neighborhood, and he'd never been afraid of knocking on others' doors and introducing himself. Especially if a pretty woman was on the other side. This is a story about mental health, the amazing impact certain individuals can have on one's personal journey, and how making progress-no matter how seemingly insignificant-is always impressive. *** PLEASE NOTE: Rated mature for language, topics, and detailed descriptions of gore.
