Obi-Wan Kenobi is dead. Except he's not. And Anakin Skywalker doesn't know how to cope with the crushing betrayal. "He knows he shouldn't hurt himself, but as long as no one knows, it won't matter. Obi-Wan surviving the Death Star leads to Vader's TIE fighter being shot down in the dogfight over its surface as it approaches the Rebel base at Yavin IV. And when Vader crashes on the planet, not too far from the Rebels, Leia finds herself dealing with much more than her grief over losing Alderaan and her family there as she comes face to face with her birth father.

Anakin accompanies Ahsoka to Mandalore and the future of the galaxy is changed forever.

Killed on Mustafar by Sidious while attempting to rescue Vader, Ahsoka is reborn as Luke's adopted younger sister. She struggles with constantly remembering flashes of her life as Ahsoka as she remembers more about Anakin. More than anything, she wants to find out more about her past, wants to find Anakin again in person but he's dead. Right?

A descendant of Revan, Theseus Shan is reapprenticed to Obi-Wan after the start of the Clone Wars. Despite his initial rough start with Anakin, the two eventually form a bond which may save Theseus as he grows darker the longer the war goes on. His visions of Revan must mean something, even if he doesn't know what. At least his best friend, Ahsoka, is with him.

As Darth Vader becomes tired of his current life, he uses an ancient Sith relic in an attempt to create another reality where everything is perfect. When Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano are sent to investigate Vader's disappearance, their worlds and beliefs are upended, but dealing with a depressed and suicidal Sith Lord is far from easy. Ahsoka left the Order, and part of him went with her. After Anakin dies only weeks later, he thought it would be the end, but the Force isn't ready to let its son die. An accident drops Vader into Obi-Wan's backyard on Tatooine. Literally. With Sidious dead, he can bring his family back together. Perhaps, he can even go to another timeline, to the past, to fix what he can't fix here. For her part, Ahsoka is... more than a little shocked when a Sith Lord and two children appear in front of her while she's on the run in the Underworld.
