When an Arsonist meets a Lunatic, the outcome could be lethal. When John Murphy finds Avalon Caliburn, he never knew why people avoided her, why everyone shied away when she looked at them. Why everyone thought she was crazy? 

Avalon couldn't remember a time before her cell, she remembered the guards that had come and gone quickly, all too afraid of her. She only knew one to stay long enough to learn his name. When the Ark decided to send 100 criminals down to Earth to see if it was inhabitable, they decided to send the loose canon too. If she survived then anyone would. 

What people didn't count on was just how Avalon would behave around 99 other people her age, when she only ever knew one.

Will she be able to overcome her emotional and mental walls, even if it means that she'd be vulnerable? Being on the ground will change Hailey in ways that the people on the ark would never expect. She will find a better version of herself. Hailey will become what she was always meant to be, a warrior. Katherine was awaiting her 18th birthday to be executed for her crimes but was instead told that she and 99 other teenager prisoners were being sent to Earth for the first time in 97 years since the nuclear apocalypse.
