When a witch disguised as a beggar comes to cruel Lord Caspian's home asking for charity, he brutally attacks her. Hell-bent on revenge, the witch turns Caspian into a beast, kills his wife, and turns his son into a wolf. The curse causes a century of snowfall and insurmountable death. 

One hundred years later, when the Hershel men trespass on the Beast's property during a hunt, Lord Caspian captures and threatens to slaughter them for their crime. 

Harlan Hershel offers his daughter Rosalind to the beast for a month to save his sons. 

But reality and illusions blur when the Beast sees Rosalind. Believing she is the reincarnation of his wife, he becomes fiercely drawn to her. 

Though terrified at first Rosalind grows fonder of the abominable lord and the cold surrounding his land. The closer she gets to the secrets he keeps, especially of the mysterious stranger in the violin room, the more he awakens a darkness in her she wants to explore. 

When Rosalind's true calling is discovered, that she is the one prophesied to kill the lord, her desire for him threatens to destroy the person she once was, and all of Transylvania. 

Beauty and the Beast meets Dracula.  Other influences: Alice in Wonderland and the tale of Hades and Persephone. 

There's a sequel called Bellua.

" Piyali"... the voice again called this time she decided to check. she walked towards the voice direction " who's is there?" Her voice echoed but no reply came, so she neared the spot from where the voice is heard, which is more darker than the corridor, even her torch is falling short in the darkness there, she is trying to adjust her eyes, squinting her eyes she asked again " who's is that?" She expected a reply but she was pulled into a hug. As a girl she is trying to defend herself but the hug is so strong she is unable to even move. she can hear that manly voice kept saying something to her, but she is unable to understand. Those hands now cupped her face, while she tried to see who it is, but she felt kisses on her neck traveling towards her face, she resisted and shouted " no...leave me...no" Hearing that the hands left her face immediately, and the manly voice sounded concern, but escaping from the grip, she started to run from there in the darkness. she is not in the right state of mind she just kept running and running until she bumped into someone.
