Kate is 31 years old, she has a son named William who is 4. She works as a police and she's still working on her moms case. About 9 months ago she got a big break in the case and spent all her time trying to get closer to her moms killer but she failed.. And took it hard, she followed her dad's footsteps and started drinking. And lost her son because of being an alcoholic. Kate gives up on life until one day when it's been 4 months since they took her son when her friend Lanie suggest that she should go and talk to someone and she goes to an AA meeting and gets a big interest in the leader, Richard Castle. Many things happens on they way and if you wanna know more then read this story ;)
