To end the war between the Alteans and the Galra, the princess of Altea and the prince of the Galra Empire must be wed. There's just one teeny..tiny....problem. The prince may be...just a little bit...... g-a-y.

"S-Stay, p-please," Keith mumbled, hiding his face in his pillow. Lance nodded climbing beside the small boy. Keith turned to face him, his face flushed as he looked at Lance, "T-Thanks." "For what?" Lance whispered, his breath close enough for Keith to touch. "B-Being by my side," Keith moved closer to Lance, closing the small distance between them, "I-I thought y-you'd all hate me." "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. "I could never hate you." ------------------------------------------------- Keith gets kidnapped during a simple mission of the paladins. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron. Keith the half human half Galra finds himself as a guard to an Altean pain in the ass Prince. He cant show what he is or it will be the end of everything. Still he cant stick to the plan when he falls for the prince. What will he choose? Im really sorry I suck so bad at descriptions! I just wana shout JUST READ IT! but I know that wouldn't work, even though Im pretty sure some people will enjoy it. Hehe anyway this story was inspired by the song, Not One Of Us from the Lion King II (dont laugh too hard). BTW i dont have anything against Lotor. While Keith is a Rogue Galra running from his own kind. When the two meet and Allura sees that Keith can help them destroy Zarkon she ask Keith to join them in fighting and be a paladin for the red lion he agrees. Yet Lance and Keith don't get along well at first but then Pidge seems to notice a blooming romance between the two. Things start to change.

Lance, the only Prince of Altea, is set to marry Keith, a galra from the royal court. Ever since they were kids it's been known to the universe that they would be wed. The couple that would unify the two races and end the war. That is until something goes wrong. Things are ruined and everything goes haywire. Keith is kidnapped by Lotor, the only child of King Zarkon. In return for Keith he wants Lance to himself. The request isn't as easy as it seems but with Keith still in Lotor's hands the threat of war is stronger than ever. Will Lance be able to save Keith while making sure he's safe as well? Or will Lotor get exactly what he wants?

Keith and Shiro are Galra (they grew up on Altea) Keith has his parents, while Lance is an adopted orphan. There is a type of Galra called Crypts they are genderless Altea still exists I don't own the characters, they are from Voltron Legendary Defender, by Dreamworks (I didn't make the cover) This one is set on Earth as Keith crash landed there trying to find the blue, green and yellow paladins. Lance is learning more about himself. There may be some angst and fluff 😁😉

Kathy(Keith's female name) is the princess of the Galra Empire who had been at war with another kingdom called, Altea. The only way for the war to be over is for the a heir from the Galra Empire marries the heir of the Altea kingdom. So, when Kathy's mother, Queen Krolia, tells Kathy that she'll have to marry the prince of the Altea kingdom, Kathy got so mad that she ran away. After almost getting kidnapped by the Galra group, which is a group that wants the Alteans gone, and getting saved by a boy named, Lance, Kathy finds out that the group took a royal heirloom that is really important for the good of the kingdom. So Kathy and Lance must go on a quest together to get the heirloom back with friends they meet along the way, but little did Kathy knew was that, Lance was the prince of the Altea kingdom, the person she has to married. Keith was the red paladin of small group called "the paladins of Voltron." All his life he assumed he was a human as that's what he was told. Things are revealed and turns out he isn't what he thought he was.. In space there was an intergalactical war between two alien races, the galra and the alteans. Both have one thing in common, when a kid is born until they reach the age of 25 in human years they are classified as a kit, or a baby. Keith happened to be this mix and the possible end to this crazed out war. With his instincts suppressed things could only get worse from where they started. He had to learn how to grow up quickly as he was in the foster care system from a young age, causing his suppressed instincts. What would happen if he met other people like him? His own kind?
