A boy, named Aang leave the temple after he learnt that he was the new Avatar, therefore only he survived the attack. But what if... there's another survivor? This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. I didn't wish for her to be humiliated in front of my court. *** After Katara is separated from her brother, she finds herself wandering alone in the unforgiving adult world, and soon to the Fire Nation Capital. After consistently finding trouble she is held captive, cut off from any news circulating in the world, before she is sold off to another unfortunate future the spirits could only tell you about. Shortly after Katara finds herself being presented to the new Fire Lord, Fire Lord Zuko. Tempted by the simple sight of her, Zuko cannot decide if he should let her go or keep her locked away forever. Our story takes place from the "Crossroads of Destiny" episode. While you may notice some key/similar parts, moving forward from this point in the show everything has been set on a new path.

The Avatar is gone. He was not there when the fire nation invaded the earth kingdom and he is not here now, when a small group of rebels hiding in ancient ruins does its best to survive. Lee is one of these rebels and leads a small team that ventures regularly into a city governed by the fire nation in order to steal food and daily necessities. However the fire nation soldiers are not his only enemy. Some of his own comrades despise him and do everything they can on order to turn his life into hell. Above all Lee hides a dark past he can not even tell his closest friend Roku because he fears that even he would turn against him if he knew the whole truth. Then it all changes when a new refugee reaches the ruins. Her name is Sora and she is an airbender. Even though she is still so very young she insists to join Lee's team and fight alongside them. Then it all takes a turn for the worst because a new commander takes over in the city who has sworn to himself to slaughter all rebels. They have to fight for their lives and between it all Lee's darkest secret gets exposed.
