Connor, the Android sent by CyberLife and Lieutenant Hank Anderson are now armed with the task of taking care of a five year old girl after she survived a house fire that was started by a suspected deviant. However, her parents were not so fortunate. Together, the three go on missions, solve cases and try to uncover what is causing androids to deviate throughout Detroit. As the story progresses, Connor begins to question the way humans treat androids. With the help of five year old (Y/n), he will have to make a decision. Y/n Anderson is her name. Charming and overall a friendly personality, she's the embodiment of the phrase "doing great". Or at least that's what she wants the world to think. The death of her brother changed her life and it had been turned upside down. Her mother left, her father developed a drinking problem and her relationship with either of them became non-existent. She tries pulling her life together but with the sudden surge of deviants among androids she finds herself in the middle of the mess. Detroit six months post-revolution is starting to get back to normal. Except for the major rise in anti-android violence taking place across the city. After being locked out of the country for those six months, Andrea Cartier is back in her position as Lieutenant to hopefully make a dent in the anti-android case. But something about her tells Connor there's more to her than what meets the eye. Perhaps he just has a crush on her like Hank keeps telling him. But he's convinced it's something else. After all, is he really convinced there isn't another highly intelligent race that walks among the Earth and looks human?

Connor is lieutenant Hank Anderson's partner. He aids him on the force and in his home. One morning after a long night of drinking, Hank gets a very upsetting phone call that his brother has been killed in an accident. Hank's niece was the only survivor. She is a complete polar opposite from Hank. She's quiet, pleasant, and loves androids. As soon as Connor sees her, his software becomes unstable. He wants nothing but to help this girl. He always wants to be near her. He's completely fascinated by her every move. It's almost like an addiction. Can an android really love? Or will he just reset? F/N L/N was a detective for the Detroit Police Department. Her father was on the force and she decided to join the force shortly before his death 2 years ago now. She was born in 2012, and witnessed the first machine to pass the Turing Test. She'd spent over half of her life with androids around, she was used to them, she accepted them as a part of society. After the passing of her father, Hank presumed the role of her father figure, upholding his promise to the man he'd known for so long. They were partners and worked together on many cases. What happens when a spanner, in the form of the RK800 android Connor, is thrown into their lives to help solve the deviancy cases? After all, they all bleed blue right? TW for depression and suicide in this story. It's more prominent/spoken about from Chapter 5 onwards!
