"My Dearest Uncle....Have you met him? No? Yes? Heard of him perhaps. You must've heard of him indeed. The most powerful monster in snowdin."

The brunette rattled on, folding her hands behind her back. The large figure behind her letting out a low rumble, one that brought vibrations to anyone's spine. It's eyes glow, a bright crimson red, a red that can make any small monster screech and run at first glance. Not that it didn't matter, that small monster was going to die at the young humans hands. An inert blaster skull covering it's actual face, that skull made no difference because there was an actual skull under it. The skeletal monster was tall indeed, towering over the human girl and the unlucky viewer. The large axe in its abnormally long hands, the blade still sharp after the amount kills it holds. Bits of dried blood still on it, but it does nothing to keep its shine dull.

She turned around and faced the blade, checking her face. Her braids falling into view, but she brushed it away. Fixing the bit of gloss she had on her lips, made from the blood of a monster. Her eyes shining as bright as the red the larger and scarier monster had, turning back to the unlucky viewer.

"That is my uncle! And We would like to give you a very warm welcome to Snowdin."

A long time ago, two races dominated the land: monsters and humans. The relationship between both races was conflictual, hostile, and difficult, as humans feared monsters, both for their appearances and for the great power they could possess by obtaining a human soul. Because of this, monsters were always treated as scum and creatures to be feared, creating a significant prejudice against them. However, one day, the monsters grew tired of this situation, and their king decided to start a war against all humans, thus decreeing the beginning of ruin for their own people. This war lasted a long time, but in the end, the victors were the humans, who, with great magical power derived from the souls of the wizards of the time, sealed the monsters underground. Many years passed after this event. Legends said that any human who fell into that underground would die, but a child decided to go to the place where everything had been sealed. They ended up falling but managed to survive the fall and now seek a way to escape or a reason to stay. Immense credits to Error Sannes, a YouTube channel creating its own AU of StoryFell. Without his narrative, I would have created something much more basic, so to speak. Of course, I will also create my own scenes and specific interactions, but what he has done is already very good and helps me a lot to have a direction. If you enjoy this story, go subscribe to his channel or check out his StoryFell videos; I swear it's worth it. 鈾 鈾 鈾.

WARNING: this book includes blood, manipulation, cursing, and mature topics (not smut please don't think that). Feel free to click off if any of these make you uncomfortable. ~鈥 Something about it was so mysterious about this cave, and I wanted to know more. I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. NOTE - I am not the creator of AxeTale nor do I own it's rights, this is my own retelling of the story of AxeTale. A sub-AU if you will, a rewrite of AxeTale, kind of like TS!Swap for UnderSwap, expect this version of AxeTale to be different than the one you know of, as there'll be a few changes here and there- NOTE 2 - I personally am not a fan of Frans / Frisk x Sans... But in this AU both Frisk and Sans are of age, and it's a plot point that they're married... Although I'm not a big fan of this but given the fact it's an AU, that's alright, even if I don't ship it personally, it's a big part of this AU and I have to try to keep it as close to the source material as possible... Just know even if I don't ship it personally, I'm still trying to be at least mostly accurate, small changes aside... AxeTale... An AU from the UnderVerse, an AU with a bleak, and almost hopeless life to it all... But life is life nonetheless... This is the story of a child... Not the child you'd expect to come across, but a deep connection is rooted in this young child... Named Aliza... For she always felt so close to Mt. Ebott, she could not explain why, maybe it's because her mother told her stories of exploring around the old mountain... Maybe it's because Mother told her tall tales about a civilization of friendly monsters, deep under the mountain... On the anniversary of her mothers passing, Aliza decides to follow in her mothers footsteps, to travel through Mount Ebott, with her mothers journal in hand, she will Discover the truth...
