The streets of Paris have been filled with unrest for some time when seventeen year old Marie meets Enjolras for the first time while walking the streets with her father Javert. While Marie feels an instant connection with Enjolras her father sees nothing in him but a poor rebel and order her to stay away from him. Marie has always listened to her father but as the tension in Paris rises so does the tension between her and her father. As sparks start to rise will Marie choose Family or Love? Safety or Risk? When Marius falls in love with Cosette, Eponine feels bad for him because she knows that the girl doesn't like him back. When Cosette sees Marius for the first time, she expects to feel something that every girl would when meeting a cute boy, but she doesn't. Then Eponine and Cosette meet. What will happen next? ~ DISCLAIMER: 1. I do not own any of the characters in this story, they all belong to Victor Hugo, I have just made different interpretations of them 2. This story will not be accurate to the real story for various reasons. To avoid spoilers, I will give two. Firstly, Eponine and Cosette are in a relationship and Cosette does not love Marius, and neither does Eponine. Secondly, the beginning of the story takes place about a year before it takes place in the musical and movie version. Marius and Cosette meet in the summer of 1831 and that is also when Cosette and Eponine fall in love. 3. After the first two chapters, the picture will not be of the character narrating the story but of the other character. For example, Chapter 3 will be from Eponine's perspective but will have a picture of Cosette. Same goes with all the chapters after Chapter 2.

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if their revolution actually worked? Well then read this story. Enjolras is trying to lead a revolution but can he keep up with it and keep his new boyfriend happy at the same time? Grantraire is off getting drunk and pulling Enjolras away from the revolution to be with him, but will that put his friend's lives at risk for that? Marius is more confused then ever, finding out his best friend Eponine has a crush on him, but he has already found someone who he loves. Cosette has fallen in love with Marius but will Eponine get in the way of her and Marius being together?

(Under Rewrite) All Enjolras cared about was his revolution, his Patria. He had no time for women. Even if he did, he could never find one who he deemed worthy for his affection. It seems this Apollo will always remain of stone until the day he dies. That was until a certain woman started working at the Cafe Musain. Stubborn, annoying, and down right infuriating to the red coated revolutionary, Ninette seemed to shake him down to his core. Could his heart of stone be cracking? I do not own any characters or plots created by the writer of Les Miserables or the stage production. This is my own story plot and has my own created characters. I do not own any music in this story. All rights go to the creators and the owners of the youtube channels they appear in.

Somehow Grantaire and Enjolras have survived the Barricade; still very much in love with Enjolras, but not knowing that he lives, Grantaire is heartbroken. Until Lily comes, a mysterious young woman who tells him of Enjolras' escape. And despite the fact that Enjolras seems not to care for him, Grantaire keeps hoping that his deepest wish and Lily's promise will turn true.

Death, with its inky black tendrils and malevolent tendencies, couldn't haunt him in his dreams, because blue eyes and golden hair and kind hands already did. Death couldn't strike him as absolutely paralyzed as life could, which was pathetic, if Grantaire stopped to think about it, because life had nothing on Enjolras. 'My world starts and ends with you', Grantaire thinks. And somehow, because life is cruel and a dark sense of humor apparently comes with the job description, it isn't even a lie. But Grantaire can deal. He can deal because he's dealt before and he's never stopped dealing, and stupid, innocuous things like hearts that beat too fast too loud in certain company, and thoughts that stray too far, and skin that prickles hot when you meet the eyes that greet you in your sleep, can't break a cardboard prince if he believes it hard enough.

Grantaire makes a drunken advance, Enjolras scorns him but discovers something about himself in the process. Despite this, they continue forward. Hurt/Comfort ensues as Enjolras works through his past all while still pledging himself to the Revolution. Grantaire grapples with feelings of his own. Furthermore, how would that balmy June night at the barricade ended differently if Enjolras had something to live for and Grantaire were permited to do more than die by him?
