After her victory in the Final Splatfest, Marie grew distant from her cousin, Callie. With both needing to head different ways for their careers, the once inseparable Squid Sisters were now barely talking. When Marie's life looked to be settling down, God had different plans. Her beloved cousin reported missing, with no sign of her whereabouts. Grief filled the pop star, almost making her not realize Inkopolis Square's source of energy disappeared too. The pressure piled on until she saw a weird inkling wandering around aimlessly in the square.

Eight was so lost. Lost in a testing facility. Lost memories. Not to mention soon-to-be-lost-sanity if the crazy old squid sitting next to her kept on rapping. Trapped in deep sea metro, she couldn't afford many more losses if she wanted to make it out alive. Becoming an Agent was never on Katsu's bucket list, until her best friend becomes missing in action. Now her only hope find him is to take up the mantle and descend to the kettles ink blazing. Part time vigilante, Kia's ready to bring her message of inter species tolerance to the next level: Octo canyon. However as not-so-friendly faces from the past start popping up creating a fresh start just got a lot harder for this octoling.

Agents 3 and 8 have just gotten out of deep sea metro and there great friends but a feeling deeper than friendship is bubbling inside both of them will they find a way to make sense of this feeling or go crazy trying

You are just an average inkling in Inkopolis Square, when you notice a strange person who changes your life. This story begins in Splatoon 2, but I will mark in the chapter list when the story jumps to Splatoon 3 for those of you who want to jump straight to that point instead.
