I couldn't answer him. I didn't know what to say to him. I didn't think I could really say anything to him. I did not want to face the facts of what had happened, or the consequences I knew were soon to follow. I just wanted to avoid it all. I wanted to deceive the passion that was burning deep inside of me, and simply forget that any of this had ever happened. I wished to pretend that I hadn't slept with Marius, and betrayed Eponine. I wished that it was Enjolras who I truly loved, and wanted to spend the rest of my life with. But I simply couldn't. You can't deceive passion. No matter how much I had wanted to. I couldn't. Eponine thought she was in love. She thought that there was no one more amazing in the world than Marius Pontmercy. He was the most perfect person ever and she was in love with him. But that all changed one night when her father decided to beat her while he was drunk. She is found by one of les Amis. One who no one ever thought would fall in love. He didn't think it himself. Until he met Eponine Thenardier. Will they fall in love just like everyone wants them to? And if so, what will happen as a revolution looms above their heads? Two broken soul's, on a journey to find love. But that could all change when the revolution comes under way, a revolution that is impossible to win, a revolution where those loyal to the king will kill every last Les Amis no matter what.

When Marius falls in love with Cosette, Eponine feels bad for him because she knows that the girl doesn't like him back. When Cosette sees Marius for the first time, she expects to feel something that every girl would when meeting a cute boy, but she doesn't. Then Eponine and Cosette meet. What will happen next? ~ DISCLAIMER: 1. I do not own any of the characters in this story, they all belong to Victor Hugo, I have just made different interpretations of them 2. This story will not be accurate to the real story for various reasons. To avoid spoilers, I will give two. Firstly, Eponine and Cosette are in a relationship and Cosette does not love Marius, and neither does Eponine. Secondly, the beginning of the story takes place about a year before it takes place in the musical and movie version. Marius and Cosette meet in the summer of 1831 and that is also when Cosette and Eponine fall in love. 3. After the first two chapters, the picture will not be of the character narrating the story but of the other character. For example, Chapter 3 will be from Eponine's perspective but will have a picture of Cosette. Same goes with all the chapters after Chapter 2.

Éponine Thénardier, a poor girl who seems to have nothing to live for. Her father beats her close to death and forces her to steal for his benefit. She doesn't remember what Love felt like, and is sure that she never loved before. Until she met Marius Pontmercy. Enjolras, a rich student who wants to help the poor and bring justice to those who never received it. A passionate leader, often referred to as the 'Marble Man', due to his lack of interest in women and his devotion to Patria, or France. Éponine loves one who will never love her and Enjolras loves no one. It all changes the day when the two meet, thanks to the Revolution and Marius. Will the Marble Man Break? Will Éponine broken heart be fixed? Will they ever have hearts full of love? Or will she forever be on her own and he will forever love his one and only Patria? How am I supposed to die at the barricades when I see my future in your eyes? Love had never been in the cards for Enjolras. He could never take his eyes away from his beloved Patria for long enough to notice women around him. At least, that was the case until the sapphire eyes of a woman from a cabaret began to consume his every thought. I am not Victor Hugo. I do not own any of the characters from Les Misérables.
