It's like a dream that Shuichi never wanted to wake up from; Investigations are always his joy; being a detective was Shuichi's passion since he lived with his uncle at the age of five. Shuichi Saihara, a shy and well liked boy is one of the most famous detectives to have ever lived. Known throughout the country as a detective who always finds the truth, and unmasks it. That is till one fateful encounter. A dashing phantom thief with a threatening organization is slowly building a name as one of the most famous thieves in the world. The race begins as to who gets cornered first. Kokichi Ouma, one of the most unliked people and is constantly being undermined and ignored who longs to confess to his childhood crush and only friend. Love meets mystery, two personas clash in the dead of night, with two stories unfolding in the light of the sun and moon.

Kokichi Ouma wants to end the killing game no matter what. Even if it means concealing his true emotions and pretending to be the mastermind, making everyone hate him. But his love for Shuichi Saihara and the need to open up to the boy gets in his way too much. How long will he be able to keep his act together?

Kokichi is being tormented with constant nightmares from how the killing game is affecting him. Shuichi is noticing something about Kokichi is off after a new motive... A vampire Love Story ~ A new motive has made its appearance where each participants have to confess who is their favorite and less favorite candidate of this killing game. This motive becoming irrelevant due to the fact that no one is committing murder, Monokuma decides to spice things up a bit ~ Yes, you understood !! A new motive is being held where someone among the contestants will become a vampire, who is revealed to be Kokichi ~ The Ultimate Supreme Leader himself. What is going to await Kokichi and the other Ultimates ? How the relationship between Saihara and Ouma is going to develop into romantic attirance ?

Shuichi Saihara, Ultimate detective. Kokichi Oma, Ultimate supreme leader. And Monokuma, the ultimate....pain. It was Monokuma who managed to lock him and Kokichi in this room in the first place. Probably just to annoy the hell out of him. Or force Kokichi and Shuichi to somehow, work together to escape but that would never happen.

(On hiatus) Shuichi, Himiko, and Maki went on a journey to discover the world that out them in a killing game and find the truths from the lies. They discover that everyone who died in the game is alive and that fills them with hope. Sadly those who died are left talentless and their personalities are different now. It'll take a lot of work restoring their groups harmony and finding the truths of their own past. What makes things interesting is while searching for his past Shuichi comes across Kokichi. Will this fated reunion go sour or bloom into an unexpected romance only time will tell.

Shuichi Saihara, The ultimate detective along with Kyoko Kirigiri. They work as partners in the police forces, and are rather the best out of everyone. They managed to solve every case they've come across, No matter how difficult the case deemed itself. Well, All expect one. Kokichi Oma, The ultimate supreme leader of a organization with over ten thousand members known as dice, has yet to be caught. Kokichi is your classic villian, like from every story. Every time the two detectives get a lead, they're thrown off the track no matter how convinced they are it is the right one. But, Shuichi is certain that he has found the correct path to approach.
