William and Patrick fought in the trenches of World War I. During their years of suffering, they found comfort and love in each other's arms. But when they returned to their homes in the English countryside, they knew their love was a sin and the two cut ties.

A decade later, both married and content with their lives, William learns that Patrick has gone missing. With a blizzard on the way and wolves known to hunt in that area, William decides to go and search for him. When they are reunited though, memories and emotions long suppressed are churned up. Now, they must decide between sacrificing their families and reputations to be together, or continue on with their lives as though nothing has changed.

Set in the pastoral countryside of England before World War II and the nuclear age would change the landscape forever, this picturesque romance asks us the question: What needs to be sacrificed to protect the ones you love?

35 parts Ongoing Mature

When war erupted across Europe in 1939, sixteen year old Katherine Montague had known what she wanted to do - what she had to do. Now, five years later and a trained nurse in the British army, she finds herself thrust into the thick of that same war. But as the fight for the Western Front rages on, Katherine discovers something amid the rubble of the death and destruction around her. Something that will plunge her into a completely new war - a war she'd never intended to fight, but has no intention of losing. The war for William Hughes' heart. Love might be enough to win the battle, but will it be enough to win the war? If not, her own heart just might pay the price.
