Starscream had begun to understand over time that there were things he used to believe, to represent. He was Second In Command to the Decepticons and with Megatron's increasingly concerning behavior with Dark Energon. He's not sure if he wants to stay. When his Trine gives him a way out, he's remains undecided until Megatron destroys what little trust he had in the leader and Starscream follows behind his brothers straight to the Autobots. With the decline in his health, he's unsure if he can handle becoming an Autobot, or let alone handle the truth he's been hiding or the past friends he has to face. Nothing can prepare him though for the sudden life he created, unaware and the reason for his decline. Now with a sparkling in the mix, he has never felt so unsure about his future than he did now. TL;DR - Starscream ends up leaving the Decepticons with his brothers only to end up in Autobot care when his health suddenly declines. When he learns it's because of an unplanned sparkling. As for the girl...there is more to this autobot leader than meets the eye. She slowly finds herself a new family to surround her with affection she has never had in her life. It is alien to her, just as alien as the autobots themselves. However...that is just what interests her. Especially Optimus Prime.
