Kara lands herself a new job as caretaker for the Luthor's. She's to take care of their youngest daughter Lena, who's been forced to move back in with her mother after a devastating explosion at her job, causing multiple fatalities and her brother's incarceration, nearly killed her too. That's been a year ago and physically, Lena is fine, but she has a severe depression and needs someone to look after her. That's where Kara comes in. During her time with the Luthor's she slowly finds out there's a little more going on, though. Under the headline, there's a picture of Andrea and Kara at the L-Corp fundraiser. The same f***ing fundraiser that supposedly caught Lena and Supergirl in the act. In the photo, Andrea is squeezing a blushing Kara's arm, with her eyebrows raised in surprise and her lips parted in a small 'o' shape. That leads to Lena finding out that she is Supergirl. And that leaves Kara scrambling to fix the mistake of keeping her identity a secret from her best friend. However, both share a secret. Will that come to light or stay hidden in the shadows as their friendship is tested?

This is my first piece of fanfiction, so all comments appreciated. I'm a novelist, so I tend toward the slow burn style. I build up instead of dropping off into the plot. This starts in Season 2 somewhere, as I'm just catching up on that. If folks are enjoying the direction of this, I'll keep adding chapters.
