The android revolution failed, but Detroit is still reeling from the aftermath. One woman, Dr. Clara Hayes, has always been fascinated with androids, especially deviants. She's devoted herself to researching and understanding deviant psychology. One day, she is approached by Cyberlife, who stop her research and blackmail her into working for them instead, instructing her to find a solution to deviancy. To make sure she does her job properly, a special prototype is reactivated: the RK800, codenamed Connor, the android who killed the deviant leader and stopped the revolution. He's given the mission to watch her, protect her, gain her trust, and find out what she's hiding. Connor is intrigued by this enigmatic doctor, but she refuses to let him in. Tangled in a treacherous web where failure means death or worse, Clara and Connor navigate through the secrets and lies, each doing their best to complete their missions. Will he be able to break through her wall and find out what she's hiding, or will she resist and cause him to fail? Will they find the answers in time, or will deviants be wholly eliminated? This story is inspired by the video game "Detroit: Become Human" and takes place in the same universe and around the same time. Since I have not played the full game, so some character portrayals may be slightly inaccurate. COMPLETED!

You're an RK700. Originally meant to do Connor's job, but didn't make the cut and became decommissioned before you could even leave the assembly plant. This is a Detroit Become Human fanfiction. Welp. I told myself that I was going to wait with this. But alas, I wasn't able to contain myself. I played Detroit Become Human a few days ago and loved it (despite the ended that I got that was stupid and that I'm still salty about. But I have decided to pretend that that doesn't exist. So there.) Connor really fascinated me in the game and quickly became my favorite character with Kara as a close second. And then I fell in love with Connor so here we are. Everyone in the police department are already over loaded, so CyberLife creates a in-the-works android, developed by Elijah Kamski to investigate, analyze, and problem solve. And it's name is "Sean." A 16 -13 -1. Hank and Connor greet their partner with stress, and demands of perfection. Due to Sean being a project started by Kamski, there are somethings that set him apart from the normal android. There are multiple parts to his "mind" that come to serve his partners. Sean's primary directive is to serve, and assist these two in their investigations, but something deep inside of him has other plans. One day, Markus meets you at the cafe and you two become friends. When you and Markus become closer, you two start to fall in love and you become a couple.
