When the Greenie came up into the Box, none of the Gladers expected them to be a girl. But when unusual things started to happen, some of the boys started to wonder if she was the reason of their problems... The Glader's all stood around the box, waiting for it to come to the surface so they could spot their new greenie as well as get their supplies for the week. Newt stood at the front of the crowd, peering down to see something he didn't expect. A girl. "Is that a girl?" "It looks like a girl, dont it?" "Why would they send us a girl? "Why now? This doesnt make sense?" "Is she moving?" "It doesn't look like it." "Great, they finally send a girl and she's dead!" "Relax you shank! She cant be dead! Instead of gawking, help me get her out of here, would ya?"

To say that the Gladers were extremely confused once they realized who was sent up in the lift this time, was a complete exaggeration. With no memory before waking up in that box, the only clue to all this chaos was a vague writing in your arm, no knowledge who wrote it and what it exactly meant. When you reach the top and the box opens, you are surrounded by dozens of teenage boys that are all staring at you. But, only one stands out. He isn't staring at you like all the others are. When Ivy comes up to the glade through the box a year before Thomas does she's the only girl. Ivy brings out something in the boys, as they slowly start to unlock memories of the life before. But as they struggle to get out of the maze Newt and Ivy stay strong together. But when the tragic happens Ivy loses her hope and her motivation. Now Ivy must learn to be brave. (Book one of the Greenie series) disclaimer!! this book was written in like 2013-2014 so the writing in this entire series is absolutely atrocious so read at your own risk! it's only still posted since people actively read it. the plot is messy, the dialogue is horrible, and nothing truly makes any sense but have at it!

She wakes up in the Glade. She doesn't remember anything, just like everybody else who came up in the past. She meets Newt, and soon finds herself liking this mysterious boy. But then Thomas comes up, and she feels a connection to him. She finds out more about her past than she wanted to know. Will they find their way out?
