"To other people, we are simply drawings on a piece of paper, but to you, we are more. We are pieces of your heart, your love, your grief, your hope. When you show someone a piece of paper, it will mean nothing, but when you show them a piece of your heart, I think you can communicate so much more."

✿16-year-old recluse Saki Hayashi has no faith in her words, instead placing any and all hope into what her hands can create. When the only beacon of light her life holds, Saki's beloved grandmother, passes away, and with her parents begin shunning her more than ever, Saki considers turning to drawing as means of coping.

Her method of escape, however, abruptly changes forever when she finds a strange book that once belonged to her deceased grandmother and decides to implant her memory into one of its many blank pages. The next morning, however, Saki finds that her drawing has come to life, thus beginning a startling chapter full of discoveries as the pages―and herself―begin to bloom in ways she could never have imagined.

Ryuga Shirogane, a senior in a high school in Japan, never finds it troubling to strike a question or an entire discussion amongst his peers or strangers, stumbles upon Mikan Alexander; a European girl in the school library who is a little out there, and to put bluntly, extremely quiet. In fact, she cannot speak at all, relying on the use of a notebook. Figuring that both had areas in need of improvement, the two opt to help each other out in exchange for each other's support. The two grow closer, spending time whenever they could to learn more about the areas where they're lacking, and having a great time. That all changes when they eventually find themselves looking for a mysterious box, hearing that the box was haunted. Ryuga shrugs this off, believing that such rumors had to have been lies, but Mikan begged to differ; she knew that something was important with such a box. And although he couldn't have believed it to have been anything of importance, the two unleashed the devil's daughter, Saki, who has now decided to haunt them both. Saki decides to haunt Mikan from the shadows. Mikan has something to do with the devil's daughter, Saki, giving her reason to purposely make life impossible. And. Is it a reason as twisted as the very existence of the wishes that come with it? Saki grants three wishes, and three wishes alone. Whether you're up for the consequences after said granted wishes, that can change your everyday life, or perhaps not yours, but someone awfully close to you. Whether Ryuga can save Mikan like the man he hopes to be, or if Mikan could try as the woman she'd thought herself to be with all the hidden stitches and wounds. Losing Grip

38 parts Complete

Senior year had never seemed so daunting. After her sister died, Avery found out just how much she hid behind Riley and how comfortable it had been to live through her stories instead of living her own. Realizing that and making a change, however, were two different things, as Avery soon understood. But life had not given her much of a choice. Maintaining a safe distance between herself and all those who used to know Riley was her miserable attempt at dealing with the grief. But she saw her strategic plan crumble, forced to face the friends she had been pushing away. The year she believed she could breeze through was revealing itself to be the year she must face all the pain she had been repelling. And there was no one to hide behind now.
