Life starts out exciting for a pink hedgehog by the name of Aurora when she sets out on her own for the first time at the age of 20. The only downside to this is an extremely over-protective dad (Sonic) who constantly worries about the most ridiculous things happening to you, and the mom (Amy Rose) always pushes to set you free when it's time. Everything changes for Aurora and a black hedgehog named Shadow when they crash into each other at Shadow Canyons. Aurora is in awe that she is with her longtime fantasy crush, and so is Shadow when he sees that he finally meets her again from his last trip through time. The two hedgehogs train each other for future challenges, until the death of Amy Rose occurs. Devastated, Aurora goes out to search for the Chaos Emeralds to save all the dimensions in existence (later figuring out she has to do more), figure out more about her powers, and to find Shadow's missing ex-girlfriend. They meet a sprite, a loyal wolf, a resistance, a young bat, a twist-hearted meerkat, and twin hedgehogs that share similarities with Shadow and Aurora. Throughout the journey, they all learn the power of teamwork, making Shadow feel unsure since what happened on Space Colony ARK and the last fiasco teaming up with Eggman. Shadow and Aurora get closer throughout the mission, but will they remain strong? Will they work together to accomplish the pink hedgehog's promise to her deceased BFF and mother? Why would Shadow team up with Aurora and their "friends"? Could it be to reach destiny, or true love? Who knows what'll happen next? What would Sonic think of all of this? So many questions. Five weeks ago, E123-Omega went on a routine mission. The mission, to destroy an old abandoned Eggman base. But, he hasn't returned yet. Commander Towers has called Agent Shadow and Agent Rouge in to find their missing partner, and bring him back safely. Shadow, however, hasn't been acting normal lately, and Rouge is worried for his health. And now cant seem to keep her feelings for the dark hedgehog secret much longer. Will Shadow finally catch on to all the subtle hints his teammate has been sending his way? Will the duo find Omega? You'll have to read to find out. So I know this opening is written really cliche, and the title really isn't the best. And I have changed it to be rated mature. There will be some lemons, although I'm going to build into and probably only do the one, since that really isn't the point of the story. And I'm probably going to make it to where if you don't to read that, I'll put it all into a chapter that will have no big impact on the story, so it can be easily skipped. So i wanted to take a crack at making a Shadouge story myself. I feel as though I can be a good writer, I just have some things I need to touch up on. I'm going to try to make this better than my ShadAmy story (which I still like, I just rushed the relationship to much, and really screwed up the ending I feel). Anyways, the point of rambling, is that I want constructive criticism for this story. I want to make sure it is the best I can do for the community that likes this ship. So any advice on future chapters, along with just general improvements to the story that you all think I could make. The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out. There's a space hedgehog waiting in the sky.....This isn't a story for you if you don't like dark themes, this is a very deep dive into Shadow's past and present time this includes some stuff from games but it's more on my own spin for a tragic character going through so much. Stuff that he's kept hidden for so long ever since the GUN raid. He eventually opens up to Sonic and team after an incident that occurred with GUN, things aren't so easy after being taken in by the blue hedgehog, no where else to go he didn't have much of a choice never made a home for himself only returning to the ark hoping one day maybe he could get the life he had once back, unable to stay with Rouge Sonic was the best option despite their rivalry.

Sonic and friends unwillingly travel to another dimension and upon arrival realise that they are not able to freely show their special abilities to the public or bad things may await. They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. during a huge fight to the death with Mephiles Sonic was kicked to the side mid fight to the point where he passed out and went unconscious. Sadly, they did not have any chaos emeralds, which would've made the battle easier, shadow was left to be the only one fighting the big problem, Mephiles...while the others were fighting his goons shadow manages to defeat Mephiles but not without a brutal beat down, even for the ultimate life form he had his limits. When the fight was done, he was left there, two semi broken legs, a deep, deep cut in his torso, and cuts between his left arm. The others who are fighting alongside G.U.N have been left with bruises and many scars, but nothing compared to what the seemingly immortal ultimate life form had. After the battle was done and the world was saved shadow was still crippled, Amy was determined to make sure shadow will be perfectly healed and take care of him for as long as she needed to her motherly instincts wouldn't let it happen any other way also her will as well, and maybe a tiny bit of her early teenage crush on shadow. They grew closer to each other after spending a full week of recovery awkward, funny and sentimental moments that occurred during the week they had spent together also finding out what their true feelings are for one another.
