A total of 10,000 players log into the game, including a boy named Akiri Shiranobu. He and all the other players soon discovered that they are unable to log out and that if they were to suffer in-game death, they would also die in real life. The only way to free themselves, is to clear the game. See the journey of a boy, who is forced to fight for his life. Witness the rise of the Crimson Swordsman. In the year 2022, a man invented something ground breaking, a device called NerveGear, that allows people to fully dive into a video game. This man, is Akihiko Kayaba, a man who secretly has a twisted mind. Sword Art Online is the most anticipated VRMMORPG game that was created for the NerveGear. One month before the full release of the game, 10 000 people were given the closed beta to Sword Art Online. One of these people were Y/n L/n, a player that would reach the highest floor out of all the other beta testers. Y/N L/N was a young man who loved to be in the virtual world. He would then play a game called Sword Art Online. But there was an incident. A man named Kayaba Akihiko would trap Y/N and the other players inside the game. They would have to survive in the game until they cleared all the floors up to floor 100. Y/N would stay as a solo player but he would meet some interesting people along the way. I don't own SAO it all belongs to its respectable owners.

The Sword Art Online incident of 2022 shook the world. For the first time, someone had successfully weaponised video games, and virtual reality. World leaders in the fields, and just world leaders scrambled to find a solution... None of which was of any comfort to the 10,000 people already in the game. Especially not the ''bloody fool of an Englishman'' who'd gone into the game for escapism from his new life in Japan. So, what happens when said ''bloody fool'' decides to fight his way through the death game? Let's find out, shall we! Some of this will be based off Integral Factor, whilst the rest will likely be original or have bits from the Gameverse.

One in particular stood out from its peers, an upcoming game called "Sword Art Online" that attracted the attention of millions; yet, only 10,000 copies have been sold. What looks to be a wonderful world spawned from the genius mind of Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of the Nerve Gear, however soon turns out to be an elaborate ruse since on the first day of public access, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. The beta test later ended during the 31st of August. ---November 6th 2022--- 10,000 people have entered SAO only to realize that they are stuck inside, with the only way out is by beating all 100 of SAO's floors. It seems practically impossible to most people, with so many floors to beat it feels almost pointless trying... But Kaito refuses to stop and will keep on going and his best friends, Otashi and Rikka, alongside his new friend, Koharu, might see Kaito as the very motivation they need to keep going. Kaito and Koharu (And occasionally Rikka and Otashi) will make their way through perilous dangers, scary dungeons, and trembling tensions if escape is going to be an option that can even chosen for them.
