Sunshine D. Tenebrarum couldn't be a more accurate name for the girl. She was always happy. Always smiling. Always polite. 
That was until that man came.
Her mother was taken from her. Her 'father' was killed. She was to be shipped off to be sold as a slave. 
32 days out on the sea in a small prison cell with her dead playmates. Starvation, dehydration and insanity began to gnaw at her until her savior arrived. Red hair and 3 scars. A world brightening laugh. A glare that could kill but a hand so gentle she relished his touch.
