After being seriously wounded by the Uruk-hai and unwilling to slow the Fellowship down, Boromir has convinced the others to let him try to make his way back home to Minas Tirith to recuperate. But then he passes out from the severity of his wounds, only to roused by his boat running aground in unfamiliar territory. And when the Uruk-Hai come back to finish him off, they might very well have succeeded, were it not for the young boy who comes to his aid. Imagine his surprise when he learns his savior is a woman... Eleri has lived a solitary existence ever since a pack of orcs roared through her village several years earlier and destroyed almost everything in their path. She prefers solitude, for it's safer. If she remains alone, she can't ever suffer losing another soul. But, when she happens upon orcs attacking an already-severely wounded man, she can't in good conscience, turn away without helping. She had no way of knowing how a simple act of kindness could change her entire life....

After the destruction of the one ring Legolas ad Gimli go on their own adventure. What started off as a vacation of sorts across the grand and vast lands of Arda turns out to be more than what the two expected. A journey of self discovery, magic, and love. And will she bring herself into the light, to join her true family for the first time? This is the third and final Fanfiction novel in my trilogy, Daughters of Durin. The first book, Ravonna the White, follows her adventures with the Company of Thorin Oakenshield, and how she falls in love with the King. The second, Aria the Black, follows Thorin and Ravonna's daughter, Aria, with her and the Fellowship of the Ring as she discovers a dark secret about her true heritage. And the final novel in this trilogy (this one), Serafina the Grey, follows the finale to the Lord of the Rings franchise, the Return of the King.
