In a world where what quirk you were given at birth dictates your life forever, Izuku was part of the rare 20% to not be born with one at all, dubbed with the title of "quirkless". His mother, flawed as she may, refused to let her son feel down or low, deciding to drill into his mind that just because he wasn't like everybody else, it didn't matter. All he needed to do was work harder than everybody else, and he could be just as good, if not better. Izuku was confident, excited, and hardly put down by his condition after his mother made her support known, and vowed to become the world's greatest hero, even without a quirk! With the support of his mother, and best friend, he would become stronger than ever-! ...No. That's what you want to hear, but we aren't here to lie, are we? This would only be the start of his never ending journey of anger, as he would someday come to realize, and as you will to. This is his story of near eternal despair. They not only trained him and gave him a quirk but also made him be a shadow. An existence that is never written down as alive.
