When you think of a pirate as a kid, you would think they have an eyepatch and parrot on their shoulder. So guess my disappointment when I saw no parrot on shoulder but a lot of scars on the eye instead. So put a parrot. A big bright red parrot with a twist. A twist so large, that it'll change the plot a bit. A sixth crew member that acts as the overseer of the crew and protector. She records the adventures and writes down all the battles that transpire before her as she travels with the Strawhats. Read as she matches the Captain in craziness and rowdiness. My next Male Reader, starring Nami from One Piece. This one was a little different for me to write, but fun as always. I decided to have the reader go on his own journey and meet up with the Straw Hats later, so there really isn't much interaction between Nami and the reader, however there is an implied history between the two like in my Sabine x Sith Reader so hopefully I've conveyed that idea as well as I hope I did. One of the trickier bits about this story was figuring out how to get the Reader from Cocoyasi to Sabaody. Navy ship would've been to boring in my opinion so I took a look at the Eleven Supernovas and decided to have the reader run with Scratchmen Apoo, he was one of the cooler captains to me being more passive than, say, Captain Kidd. And naturally, no sea voyage is complete without an opportunity like a Devil Fruit! This time around I created a Crow-Zoan Devil Fruit, trying to go for a Tengu Aesthetic with the reader (and keep up my current One Piece Wind-Users theme). Atlas D ledger always looked up to his father, seeing him as one of the greatest pirates to ever sail the seas, yes he stole, killed and acted like any pirate would, but he had honor, he never spilled the blood of the innocent and always helped someone in need, ending up stealing millions upon millions of berries from pirates who didn't think twice about doing any of that, but one day atlas found his father and some of his men washed ashore of their island....an eye and hand missing, his prized weapons seized and his haul stolen, now grown up, atlas is determined to continue on his father's legacy, have his own crew, recover his father's weapons and haul and become one of the greatest pirates to ever live, join atlas on his adventure across the seas of the world of one piece as he joins up with a group lead by a certain stretchy man who wears a straw hat.

"And the only place where you can find my mentor and mistress." ------------------ I've written about humans before, but this is new to me. This is the first time I've written a full story about something related to an anime and manga series, and of course I had to kick it off with a new obsession of mine that is the global phenomenon known as One Piece. This was on my mind after watching the Drum Island retelling movie(bruh I bawled like a five year old), so here is a rewrite of the arc/season with my OP OC in the mix! When Nami falls ill, the Straw Hat pirates seek medical care for her on the icy coldness of Drum Island. It happens to be the very place where one of their members, sixteen year old Devil Fruit wielder Mirai Tatsumi, grew up after being casted out of her home village shortly after gaining her power to turn into a dragon hybrid. While on the island, the team meets Tony Tony Chopper, a reindeer doctor who happened to be Mirai's mentor and the only best friend she ever had long before she met Luffy. When the old king returns to claim what was rightfully his, the six pirates must band together to protect the land and its people. As a small warning, spoilers to Drum Island are in this story!
