"Well, what do we have 'ere?" A hoarse voice stated above me, making my eyes glaze upward in the direction of the culprit, only to freeze at the icy, crystallized irises of the owner. There, above me, was the man I saved, looking insanely at me with crazed eyes and a mocking tone. His hair was stuck on his forehead and the smudged eyeliner created a trace of dark lining on his face, making him look hauntingly. The man gazed at my form in amazement and wonder before they captured mine again, sending an icy cold sensation coursing through my vein, making me shiver. He was frightening and breathtaking at the same time. "A mermaid, aye?" he questioned as his gaze trailed down the length of my body. Grabbing my arms with one hand, he caressed my face gently, his thumb grazing my parted lips before they went below my hair twirling a single piece. I struggled from underneath him when he let the hair graze my breast underneath my blackened hair. Grinning at me madly, my eyes narrowed distastefully as his hand touched my crimson scales, stroking the tail almost lovingly. "Is this how you repay your saviour, pirate?"

Sequel to Love Is A Losing Game I could accelerate time so hours pass in minutes. I could slow time down, the world around me coming to a near halt at the blink of an eye. But I did not have the ability to go back in time and mend my mistakes. No, that is something that I had to face like everyone else. With stinging indents formed on my tongue from holding back everything I wanted to say. That's what everyone did, right? Our love story, which we wanted everyone to hear but was not heard, would end. "I can't forgive what you did, no matter how much I love you." He opened his eyes wide. "But you said you forgave!" I continued talking, ignoring his words. "And know that I would never want to forgive someone like you!" He was devastated by my words and a few tears fell from his eyes. "I can't stand looking at your face anymore, so it's best to end it all," I said, hoping my voice wouldn't shake. Before turning around and leaving, I said, "I hope you forget me and move on happily with your life loving someone else. "I turned around and started walking without looking at his face one last time. I had only taken a few steps when I stopped because of what he was yelling. His words hit me like a slap. "How can you tell me that I can have a heart that beats for someone else after you turned your heart to ashes with your love! Don't go! Answer me!" He’s just a little boy, please. You have me, you have Will and even Peter; we’re whom you want. Just let them go, you’ve won.” I sighed as the wicked man grinned at me. “Very brave Alison, very brave indeed. Well men, she said let the boys go, so let them go!” He said and I went pale as I realized what I had done. “No! Stop!” I screamed but it was too late. I watched with tears in my eyes as a pirate picked up Aaron and set him on the plank. I started to thrash around in the ropes, and felt them loosen a little bit. Come on! “I never liked children.” Hook said absentmindedly as Aaron started to cry, and looked at me, and I smiled at him. “Think of the stars Aaron, think of the stars.” I whispered as his scream rang out through the boat, just as I broke through the ropes and attacked.
