The battle for Ninjago City is called to Lloyd, also known as the green ninja, and his friends, who are also secret ninjas. Kai is the red ninja with the element of fire. Cole is the black ninja with the element of earth. Jay is the blue ninja with the element of lightning. Zane is the white ninja with the element of ice. Nya is the gray ninja with the element of water. And Val is the purple ninja with the element of animal transformation. All of the ninjas have to go against their enemy Lord Garmadon, who is also known as Lloyd's dad. The ninjas go on an adventure of a life time to learn how to find their inner power of Spinjitzu. During the final event of Chen's Tournament of Elements, he decides he needs to get a Ninja out of the way. So Chen hires Eclipsa, Master of Magic, to help him out. He wants Eclipsa to kill one of the Ninja, but Eclipsa has other plans. She picks a Ninja, but instead of killing him, he lures him into a deep sleep. An Eternal Sleep. Chen at first is furious but then uses this new development to his advantage.
