When Mcgonnagal asked Harry Potter and his year to come back to Hogwarts to complete their education and take their N.E.W.Ts, to say Harry was excited would have been an understatement. With Voldemort dead he could finally enjoy a normal school year with his friends, not worried about somebody trying to kill him but the fact that it was Harry Potter we are talking about and trouble usually found him..... Draco and Hermione become closer than ever before in their year together at Hogwarts. After being asked to tutor him, they find themselves actually enjoying one another's company. Could this be love? The war is over - the good side won. Hermione finds herself in a weird situationship with Ron. He perceives his feelings for her, but she senses his heart is somewhere else. A tragedy strikes - there's no situationship left. "What are you supposed to do, think and feel, when the one you learned to love leaves for someone else?" But she needs to move on. Hermione comes back to Hogwarts for her seventh year alone. Weird, without her friends it feels like she's reliving her whole childhood here over again. A little incident in a potions classroom leaves the whole castle in the fog of strong Amortentia. While teachers run around trying to find a way to get rid of the effects, Hermione finds out she has more admirers than she thought. Great, that was the least she needed right now. But all starts to seem funny when one boy from Slytherin makes Hermione pluck the petals of a flower thinking "does he love me, or does he not? " When Draco thought love was only a silly little game, he figures out it's actually serious. More important - he finds out he may not be the only one playing. Or is it love, that's starting to play with the both of them?

Hermione finds herself out of place after the war. Really out of place. ~The students of Hogwarts have returned for their Seventh Year that they were unable to attend, a year prior. Ron and Harry, getting ready to finish their Seventh Year and become Aurors, like they planned. After Hermione turns down Ron, for feeling wrong about being with him, she feels alone. Scared. Out of sorts. But she isn't the only one. Draco Malfoy sits at the other end of the Great Hall, by himself, surrounded by the other Slytherins, all avoiding him except for Theo Nott, Blaise Zabini, and Pansy Parkinson. The other death eaters. But Malfoy doesn't seem to notice, too busy staring into nothingness, with grief. Hermione cannot help but stare at the poor boy who everyone hates. Who she hates. But she doesn't feel that way when she's looking at him. All of a sudden she realizes his composure has broken, staring back at her.~ Will she invite in the enemy of her childhood? Will she see past it, as he is the only one who understands the pain she's enduring?

The war is over. Everyone has to retake the previous year at Hogwarts. Hermione Granger is made Head Girl and Draco Malfoy is made Head Boy. Tensions rise between the two. Ron starts acting very different, which takes it's toil on Hermione and Ron's relationship. What could be causing his sudden attitude change? And will things start to darken when Lucius Malfoy gets involved? What will he do? Can Draco and Hermione find happiness together or is it just not meant to be?
