Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!

Can Divit is a turkish internationally famous actor, who comes back to Istanbul after 6 months in USA. Tired of years of parties, women and that kind of wild lifestyle, he just wants to settle down for a while, but...what does that "settle down" really mean to him and what if he meets the love of his life..? Sanem Aydin is an autonomous beautiful young woman with her own perfume and cream business, who lives a quiet bohemian life, loves to dance and who only wishes to find her prince, the love of her life, one day soon...but will she find the right kind of prince, the kind she can trust her heart to..? ***Adult contents (yes, with some hot, romantic sex and with love included ;)*** ** To me, Erkenci Kuş is the most mesmerizing story I've ever seen on screen, I adore Canem and always will. After watching it a hundred times with spanish and english subtitles and after reading so many fantastic fanfiction stories here on ��������, I wanted to give my own story a try. Mostly is about to try to understand how deep their feelings got for each other in a very short time, how bad jealousy can be, how it can hurt and how it can make a person act. I am quite romantic, so a happy ending is a must! And some sex as well, (as sex was not needed in EK but would have been appreciated, for sure) at least I will give it a try. =) My story is definitely not so conservative as EK, characters are not being so traditional, it's about a more modern lifestyle. My first fanfiction, so please, have that in mind! I am not english, but will do my best to use a correct english. Following a terrible accident, Can Divit loses his memory. He wakes up and there is a stranger beside his bed, Sanem, her eyes full of love and hope. Hope that he crushes in an instant when he asks "Who are you?" Two years of his life disappeared, he tries to reconcile with the man he woke up as and the man Sanem loves. However, he can't ever imagine giving up his freedom for love. So is his amnesia a blessing in disguise, a way to claim back his life and love of freedom or an error he has to correct. A clash between two men in one body. Sanem's Can, who would give up everything for his love. The one ready to get married, settle down and start a family. Can Divit, the lonely Albatross who values his freedom above all, dedicated to his camera and spreading his wings discovering all corners of the world. Falling in love with Sanem isn't the problem, the question is will she accept this version of him. Or will she choose the memories of the past over the new memories they could create together. How does Sanem cope with these two men? Will she fight to get her Can back or try to understand the Albatross a little better. She is sure of only one thing, whoever he is today she will always love him. Her Can or the new Can. Sanem has to decide whether or not she is ready to go down the path of new discovery with the Can who doesn't remember her. However, the memories of their past love are so important than her, maybe too important. Will she stick around or save herself the heartache. The story will begin as an intercept between episode 46 and 47 then pick up at episode 51 before the reunion. Enjoy!

It's been so, so long since I've even thought about writing fanfiction but I've recently been inspired by the amazing Erkensci Kus, the Turkish romcom. Some of my writing will remain canon, others will depart from the canon episodes and I'll add my own, mostly from Can's perspective. Sanem is a young girl who lost her parents in a car accident. Sanem and Leyla Sanem's sister, lived with their aunt and uncle for a couple of years but it was time for them to go on their own. It was hard leaving, but fate had plans for the sisters. Can Divit, is a world renowned photographer, comes from a wealthy family. He's kind of a wild card, but has a heart of gold. But doesn't like to show it. His brother Emre works in the family business, but Can is happy doing what he does best. But his father wants him to settle into the business. But Can still wants to travel, but who knows what the future holds.

Mirhiban, the wife of Aziz Divit, the owner of the hotel where Sanem's father had been the manager until the moment he passed away, was a very loving and endearing woman; her heart almost broke when she found out about the little girl left behind and quickly organized for her to stay with her and her family. Her own sons, Can and Emre, were already teenagers; Can was a sweet sixteener and Emre...a grouchy fourteener, so a little girl to take care of was just what she needed. From the moment Can met this...tiny but so beautiful little girl with her big, dark deer eyes, he felt a very special bond between them. Mirhiban felt it too and happily noticed that Sanem trusted her eldest son ever since. Can spent all the time he could with 'his little babygirl' and helped her get through the loss of her own family. But both of them would grow up into adults, and...what about that 'special bond' between the sweet sixteener and that so tiny and beautiful little girl when that happens..? Can Yaman is an internationally known actor and model. His shows have had great success but he hasn't been able to find that special woman to share his life with..yet. Sanem Aydin is an up and coming dancer and choreographer who has worked hard all of her life to get to where she is now. True love has eluded her so she hasn't found the man she was meant to spend her life with..yet. Join me for my second fanfiction based on my deep love for the Erkenci Kus series. This one is a little different as I'm telling my story from a real life point of view. I fell in love with Can Yaman after watching the series and have followed him as he has traversed love, his career, his charity and all the challenges he has faced. We are grateful that he shares so much with his fans. In the story, Sanem is a fan of Can's and goes with some friends to hopefully meet him during the Break the Wall tour and like they say...the rest is history. Sanem and Can meet, let's see what destiny has in store for them.

Can is a handsome famous photographer and part time model, he's a man who wants to be free no commitments. what happens when two totally different people meet from different backgrounds, will they fall in love and battle what's ahead. Only time will tell.

Book 2 (Completed) Continuation of 'Heartbreak'.....After leaving Istanbul. Sanem's life takes a dramatic change...success comes in her writing and her perfume and cream business. However there's still a void in her life....Can's had he's fare shares of up and downs and its not over yet. With misunderstangs that lead to secrets between them...they lose each other. They say home is where the heart is.... home for both Can and Sanem is in one place...that's with each other. Can they overcome the odds and let their love live and find their way back to each other.

This is an AU story inspired in the original dizi of Erkenci Kus. I had some ideas to many open points that where left without a reply. I missed a different approach to some of the characters like Yiyit or Huma or even Ayhan and why not Derem and Cey Cey. In my thoughts they deserved another end at no way these characters had a fair exit in the story. However to make things more interesting and amusing I have just come to the idea that Mr. Wrong should be around and we shall see what happens with all of them. So some characters and things and could be slightly different from orginal serie. I beguin after Can leaves with Polen to the Balkans and Sanem remains in agency and is working at her book already with Yiyit. Another note, the famliy Divit has 2 sons Can and Emre and a daughter called Lale. This is my first story and Im not experienced in writting. I haven't got the rights of the characters from the original story.
